He should sell it for $250 and get an axis with some nice glass, then sell that and get a used 700 and save up for some nice glass. Then get some milsurp that cunts like you will pay 1k for. Then continue that until you've got a house and a 700 with a vx2 on it.

While were on the topic of mosins, is anybody somewhat disappointed with the condition of the M39 from Classic. I got an SK.Y. Sako from them and requested the VG-C condition upgrade and the thing is in pretty sun par condition compared to what I hoped for. Its got gouges and scratches all over the stock, the bluing is worn to shit, and the dog-on crown is counter-bored. Im glad i got my mitts on a Finnish Mosin Finally but god damn.

The older mosin's aren't worth a whole lot more than the normal ones to normal people, but I've been collecting since I was little.

I recently picked up a 1916, but it was damaged somewhere between WW1 and the end of WW2 and they barrel swapped it with a 91/30 barrel.
So I'm still missing my cool rear sight and front blade sight.
