Blow-forward guns

Needs more moving parts to do the same job reliably.

Forward has no convenient way to eject or rechamber. Magazines wouldn't be able to work as we know them either.


I know theres atleast one pistol that works but i can't think of it right now

Why more moving parts? Wouldn't a spring around the barrel similar to pic related do the trick? Granted the magazine might be a bit tricky, but there's no reason it couldn't be solved.

Anything a blowforward does a blowback does better. Also blowforward actions have harsher recoil.

Really no advantage for the added complexity and less familiar controls.
