Which would be better for a backpack gun. The M85 or the M92?

If there needed to be a choice, I'd say the M85 only because of ammo availability.

Personally with how much I've seen those sell for I'd look somewhere else, but that's just me.

M-92 dude 7.62 does well out of the short barrel. Also serb mags are on sale for 8 bucks at apex.

I have an AR pistol(would be broke down so it's only as long as the upper at 21in), but I can't seem to find a pack that doesn't look like a 5 day pack. I have thought about going pistol caliber, but I'd prefer something with more effectiveness.

As far as I know the M85 is no more. Whatever is out there is all that's there. And I do believe that both the m92 still imported.

As I see it, they're at the same price point roughly and the AR has modularity while the AK has a folding option.
You can also have a folding option at a MUCH higher price point with the AR though.

The one that shoots 7.62x39. 5.56 doesn't do well out of short barrels like that unless you use gucci ammo. Ive been wanting a Ak pistol myself.
