>Is this the 1911 of polymer striker fired handguns?
What does that even entail?
>>
>>34168215
no, now kys you retard.
>>
>>34168215
No, it's not.

1911s are expensive and impractical, two things shields do in the opposite fashion.
>>
>>34168215
No. Its not.

1911s are durable and rugged. Two things plastic does in the opposite fashion
>>
If by that you mean looks and feels nice but sucks to shoot? Then sure.
>>
Considering it's not a Detonics STX or castle arms spectre...or was it specter..No.
>>
>>34168215
>Is this the 1911 of polymer striker fired handguns?

I really have an idea that it is.
>ergonomic thumb safety that is well thought out like the 1911's
>can have a finely tuned trigger with Apex parts or an even better one with an ATEi trigger job
>grip angle is similar to a 1911
>>
well, does the 1911 have an absolute dogshit trigger?
>>
>>34168215
Yes, because it's unreliable.

So unreliable, Texas DPS had to drop it, NC highway cops had to drop it, and so on.
>>
>>34168710
Lots of then do actually. The 1911 is capable of having a fantastic trigger. Being a 3.5lb glass rod isn't an inherent trait though

Similar ergos, thumb safety...put a flat face trigger in there and yes I'd say it's a fair comparison
>>
>>34170587
>thumb safety
>OP's pic doesn't have a safety
>>
>>34168215
They're both unreliable trash, so probably yeah.
>>
>>34168696
I think you're thinking of the P-07.
>>
>>34168808
I don't understand why the 9mm and .40 M&P's have all these shortcomings, while the M&P45 has consistently been proven to be one of the most reliable polymer .45's on the market. I'm talking a mean round between failure count alot lower than a Glock 21.
Several tests have concluded that it is only beat out in reliability by the USP45 and HK45 - and by a factor of less than 5k rounds.
~30k MRBF.

You'll shoot the shitty barrel smoothbore or cause a mag to go to shit before you induce a jam that is the fault of the gun

luv my 1911, points good, great trigger, flying ashtray is a great conversation stopper. You 1911 h8ers with same type of plastic in your guns as the dildo you use to fuck yourself in the ass will never know what a real trigger or double tap is.
>>
>>34171244
Xdm 45 is better than g21/41 and m&p45. M&p 40 is thr best striker 40.
>>
>>34168303
Leave a glock and a 1911 in a puddle and see how "durable" a metal frame is.
>>
>>34171896
How? Like seriously how? Wheres the data?

Or are you just one of the hired Springfield trolls who's been shooting down anti-SA/RRA threads for the past 2 months?

I've never heard the XDM 45 being more reliable than the G21
>>
>>34170587
>thumb safety
minority option, you know they make them without a external safety right and is what the majority of them are?
>>
>>34172336

Becuase we all leave our 1911's and glocks in puddles before having a shootout with 10 niggers wanting to rape our churches and burn our women.
>>
>>34170610
>>34172503
Aside from being one of the few plastic fantastics to offer an optional thumb safety basically from the start over a decade ago, the safety is quite 1911-ish. Striker pistols without safeties may be the cool thing currently, but thumb safety M&Ps are hardly rare or hard to get a hold of so I'm not sure what your objections to my post are.
>>
>>34170695
Never had a failure in almost 2k rounds through my shield that wasn't due to me getting fatigued and limp wristing it
>>
>>34172336
Lets leave a glock and a 1911 next to a fire or the sun and see how durable a metal frame is.
>>
>>34168312
I felt the complete opposite.
>>
>>34172336
>lets do something nobody does for any reason.
>>
>>34172571
>I put x rounds through y gun under optimal conditions! It's super reliable.
Every fucking time.
>>
>>34168275
>1911s are expensive
poorfag
>1911s are impractical
Not really
>two things shields-
I'm going to stop you right there since you didn't even realize that what OP posted was not a shield.
