Is it possible at all that a few ISIS fighters have managed to work there way in and join up with the French Foreign Legion? Would there be any value in them to do this? Perhaps gain information or to even sabotage.
Dont give them ideas
Because the FFL is full of hard blooded French Patriots that can't stand New France and men from former French colonies that want citizenship.
Everyone is interviewed by Interpol and legionaires are some tough and experienced bastards who know people very well. Short reminder that tons of SS and Wehrmacht fanatics joined the FFL right after the war and got their ideological spine broken. Many of the seniors didn't even serve under protection of the human rights. Could well be that a jihadist would die by a stray bullet while training.

>Is it possible at all that a few ISIS fighters have managed to work there way in and join up with the French Foreign Legion?
Very unlikely, if they fought for ISIS they are probably on a list, and the legion doesn't really accept people with a very heavy criminal background.

Nobody is interviewed by Interpol. Are you fucking retarded?
>>34168473
>hard blooded French Patriots
Or criminals that are running from the law.

>still believing this
You guys realize the FFL is different now than it used to be, right? It's not as easy to get in especially for people with criminal records.
>>34168543
You're saying there's zero criminal in the current FFL?
>>34168611
Of course not.
I'm just saying that the days of them letting in murderers and rapists and other serious criminals is over. They're much more picky in who they let in nowadays.
But because of the past, people who don't know better will still say and think they let in anyone no matter how bad their history is. That's just not true anymore.
>>34168611
>you're saying there's zero criminals in any military on Earth
>>34168518
But their got their asses checked by every database they have, faggot

French are basically Arabs today, the Legion who bravely fought in Algeria and defied De Gaulle is long dead. No one should hold romantic views about them. Their main mission is keeping Afrodindus from disturbing French economic interests in Africa.
>>34168543
Around 25% are East Europeans. For all the boosting no one is bigger shit than EE.
Unlikely. They'd have to be Russian Moose Limbs.

What the hell? Why defect?

Picture that. When they enlisted, many of the NCO's were ex spanish republicans.
It went surprisingly well, though the number of ex SS is widely exaggerated.
>>34168149
probably not, they do background checks now
How does one join the FFL what are the requirements?
>>34175653
nvm found something
Very unlikely.
ISIS fighters are terrorists and the FFL does not accept terrorists in their ranks.
Plus, in order to gather valuable intels, they would need to pass all the test to be a legionary.
The training of the FFL is not shrouded in secrecy, lots of documentaries covering the subject can be found on youtube.

Islam is a carnal religion of whores, gluttony, murder, pillaging, and general destruction. If you're already far enough gone as a soldier with PTSD, with little knowledge of religion and the occult, against a person who knows how to use your military conditioning against you? You're easy pickings.
>>34176566
You don't really need manipulation to get men when you offer whores, gluttony, murder, pillaging, and general destruction do you?
>>34171077
Legionnaires and the current state of recruiting standards of the Legion Etrangere =/= The actions of people connected to France in varying official capacities

>How does one join the FFL
Go to Paris or Aubagne, be good at running, learn some French (but don't let on that you know French), be good at pullups, don't be soft skinned and don't quit during the tryouts or at Castel. Also, be lucky.

Depends if that involves betraying your flag.
