Talking of 1911's, what mags you guys recommend? I had some Springfield ones that would always FTF on the last round. I got rid of them and have some 8 round Mec-Gar's on the way. Wilson Combat mags are a little out of my budget.

That's the thing though. While my 7 rounders looked good, they were unreliable as hell. I can't have my gun jam in an emergency. I was also considering getting a couple CMC 10 rounders and loading them with Hydra Shoks.

This is an excellent combo here. Those rounds have like 14 inches of penetration. It doesn't matter much if they blow out the backside (it'll be going BB/Pellet speed). Just don't miss your target.
