CVA-01 proposed aircraft carrier, cancelled in 1966.

Apparently not a particularly amazing design (iirc for similar tonnage and lower cost, one of the US's lighter carriers in service at the time would give you a far better air-fleet.) but I think it's cute.

Instead Britain got harrier-carriers (sorry, "Through-Deck cruisers.") and moved their F-4Ks to land-bases.
