Don't know if this is the right place to ask but I currently own a spyderco bradley bowie (the original one) and I really want to dye the black g10 handles a chestnut/ mahogany color if at all possible. Im currently trying to stain it via soaking in tea. I don't think rit dye would work since I cant remove the scales to boil it but any advice would be most appreciated

Bleach.

Do not use bleach. It will corrode the stainless eyelets. Some sort of firearms grade coating is your best bet, as you will not be able to change the color of the G10 resin.

you need to etch it first. wash it in salt water and scuff with steel wool, then let it air dry in the sun.
