so I signed the paperwork but I don't know which one i should get. should I go with the least expensive Fal or the Fal that is designed closest to the original? they don't show it on their website but they got a classic one at the irl store.

What's the condition? If the bore is in good shape and externally it's fine, go for it. You're looking at $750 for a parts kit, 4-500 for a receiver, up to 600 more for tools/gunsmithing/refinishing. 1200 for a good condition one would be a steal

Externally there were no scratches or damage, just the glossy black finish which was evenly coated no drips or blisters just looked painted.
The bore looked good from what I can tell.

I wasn't sure if it was a garage build or if it was a factory built DS arms gun
Ironwood is finishing up their FAL sets, although the site hasn't been updated yet.
For my Imbel/Imbel build, which style should I get?
>type C
>stg-58 w/pad
