...is Vortex pretty much King Shit of high-value, low/mid-price optics? They seem really tough to beat.

Any other makes and models I should look at? I want a 1-4x or 1-6x optic for muh AR.

Why the fuck would you build an M16A1 clone and then put a modern dot on it? If you did it properly it cost a pretty penny, and you opt for budget optics? You are very confusing, OP.
