Lee Classic Turret
>Shakes the magic 8 ball
You can rely on it.

None. Forget starter kit. Go for broke. You will replace all of your starter stuff in a month anyway.
>>34144400
Im not gonna reload much though. Im only reloading 30-30, 30-06, and 5.56.
>>34144368
Thanks I will check it out.

All of those take some effort to resize. Not like a straight wall round. You will not like working with a wimpy press.
RCBS Rockchucker
Tfw i spent all my money on a hornady and still have to buy dies, powder and boolits

>reloading
i usually reload with a 10 second 30 magazine round clip

A little Classic Lee Loader
Been reloading 357 and .38 special for years with one.

I was thinking of trying that myself. I have some questions:
1.) Do you clean your brass? If so, how?
2.) Have you ever had a primer go boom on you when trying to knock it in place?
3.) Do you use a scale or auto-powder measure? I can't imagine that a scoop that goes by volume is very accurate.
4.) What kinds of stuff do you load?

Yeah im not gonna spend like $600-1000 to reload ammo.
I don't legitimately believe a frog poster has the resources to begin reloading. This whole thread is bullshit.
I bought the lee challenger press kit. Just reload 9mm and 308 right now. I enjoy it
>>34144400
And no. Ive had my same shit for years. Just add to it.

Whats wrong with pepe, no guns?
Any of the single stage presses are find for reloading for accuracy or rare rifle rounds. If you're reloading pistol ammo for volume though, it's pretty hard to justify much besides a progressive press.
RCBS, Hornady, and Lee all have serviceable starter sets for single stage. A good Dillon progressive setup is not cheap.

Got any recommendations
I got a rockchucker supreme kit a few years ago because Cabela's had it on sale, and I had a $100 gift card I needed to use up.
It's worked great for all the round I reload.
>>34144400
The only thing I replaced in my kit was the scale, because I'm not a fan of beam scales and prefer digital ones.
>>34144759
I was going to get a single stage but everyone says no bigger brands, moar turrets, make all the bullets at once
it gets a little bit confusing for someone to start with

A Dillon RL500B is all the press a hobbyist reloader will ever need. Get a toolhead for each caliber you reload and you will never have to fuck with changing out dies ever again.

Not him but Lee dippers are very consistent if you are consistent in the way you dip them. Within .1 grain actually.

Thanks

Be sure to read what else you will need on that page.

All you need is components (brass, bullets, powder and primers) and a rubber mallet. These reloading presses and dies and crap are just for dumb people to waste their money on.
