This might make me look retarded but i'm gonna ask anyways. I built an AR with a fixed buffer tube and a fixed stock. I'm running a mid length gas system. So I order a 6 position stock, an adjustable buttstock but now that i'm looking at it i'm not sure if my current spring and buffer will work in it. Also I thought it would be longer, pull out all the way out it's only an inch longer than the stock I had. What am I missing?
