In today's market that's like a $400 gun is all.

There's no reason not to keep the most likely optic that OPERATUR had equipped
>>
>>34133371
It's because when sailors/shipping security go into ports it's easier to just buy a new gun rather than get customs to accept it. So they take all of the parts that are harder to replace off of it such as optics, rear sights, magazines

he's teaching his rifle how to swim
>>
>>34133371
He probably had an optic on it and removed it before tossing it. Optic generally isn't considered a part of a firearm, so can keep it.

Front sight is just there because he's probably buying cheap ARs that have the front post gas block.

It is now. It wasn't when he got hired, and now he has seniority. That's how the job market works. If you hit it at the right time, when it's a seller's market, you're golden. If not, you're screwed.

In 1968, my dad knew a guy who got promoted to airline captain flying 707s across the Atlantic at 24 years old (the minimum legal age for that), because it was the middle of the Vietnam War, the military wasn't letting any pilots go, and there was a desperate pilot shortage. Six years later, in 1974, he knew a guy who had 100 combat missions over Vietnam and a few hundred hours of C-141 time who was flying as copilot in a dinky little commuter turboprop because the war was over, the pilot labor market was flooded, and that's all the guy could get. And being better doesn't help - the dumbest guy he ever knew while he was flying retired a couple years ago as a 777 captain for American Airlines. The guy in question was flyingas a flight engineer for some rinky-dink outfit that got bought out by AA around 1970 or so, hit the seniority list just perfectly, and managed to be just barely not-dumb-enough to ever get fired.

For similar reasons, around, say, 2005, PMCs would take any warm body they could get their hands on. These guys are all now senior, and won't be let go barring a major fuck-up. But if you want a job there now, you'd better be Oliver Queen with a side of John Rambo, or they won't even look at you. That's the way the labor market works, anon.

It depends on what kind of outfit you want to join. There are some real indian outfits out there that will take anyone with a gun and some form of training.

Companies like G4S will take literally anyone who passes any form of security exam, training or not. for about $80 a day, but are more security than PMC

You have some companies like academi that will hire people with at least a military background, they even hire pilots and drone operators, who work for $500 a day

On the Upper market you have corporate Like AEGIS an Control risks where you're required to have a minimum of no criminal record & decent military service record. And companies like intelligence international that require at the very minimum hostage rescue, SF, or recce training. and reieve up to £4000 a consultation
>>
>>34133282
Could anyone point me to those 'international laws'? I've been hearing that they don't need to do that, as long as they stay on the ship.
>>
>>34134725
your thinking of ships at port near the US. Ships at port near any other country hike up their petticoats and run away screaming at the sight of a firearm.

Foreigners are weak. Foreigners must be mounted and used as objects. I

>>34134717
Don't forget about Triple Canopy, who's force is made up of a lot of USSOCOM veterans, even it's original founders themselves were former Delta.

Its part of constellis along with academi, olive group, Edinburgh intl, and strategic social.
