transfer to different account, see the offset.
>>
You think that is bad.

I have the money to buy the gun I want but live in a place where getting a gun license is stupidly difficult.

I can walk 10 minutes in any direction and buy a gun on the black market but trying to get one legally is near impossible.

Also if you get the dam license it has so many restrictions it makes owning a gun useless.
>>
>>34130390
Fucking lol, I wanted to save early, and still want to save, but never had the opportunity to go to college or even a decent vocational school before literally becoming homeless as a minor at no fault of my own- There's more savings there from one year than I've ever made total.

Good to see someone somewhere living the dream, that's not actually rich as fuck
>>
>>34130330
>$270k

That's cute
>>
>>34130402
Very good then. I had to draw $20k out of my retirement savings for an emergency and it hurts me to this day.
>>
>>34129205
I ain't even that broke. At least I got some money in savings.

Stock up on material things like precious metals. I leave my money in the bank so I get the interest, it adds up after awhile and the jews can keep it safer than I can.

>>34130330
Why the fuck are you keeping that much in a bank? Why haven't you used that to buy a property and things that are actually real?
>>

>>34130548
No surprise, the retard uses a bank.
>>
>>34130515
ouch, I know that feel
>>34130479
I live by the adage: "better to be lucky than good". Your instincts are spot on, and believe me, had it not been for some timely luck, I'd be living under an overpass.

This will pass, and it can be shocking how things can change within even a couple of months. For better or worse, but don't give up.

I don't live big, I'm so cheap, I light matches one side at a time, plus I'm on permanent disability - same as my wife.

Hang in. Things do change.

>>34130510
I'm genuinely happy for you, I have a bunch of friends my age who don't have shit for retirement, I just do what I can with what I have.
>>
>>34129205
I don't understand this shit. Up until a week ago I was working at McDonald's and I have a .22, a 12 gauge Mossman, a Canik TP9SF, and when I get my last paycheck I'm buying my upper finishing my AR. Guns aren't that expensive, hell, the shotty was only $220 after tax. Surely you could afford that.

>>
>>34130788
Because fuck apartments, starting a family soon, need a yard and a shed for gun stuff
>>34130780
Well shit, I'll give it a go then, thanks for the advice! Is there anything else I should know before I start looking for one?
>>
>>34130330
I would buy $VV or any fund that seeks to track an index like the Dow Jones or S&P 500, companies comprising the top 500 or so of the US economy, with low management fees so you aren't paying a day trader to shuffle stocks around just to barely break even or slightly underperform.

What is your rationale for the "CREF growth" ?
>>
>>34130801
It's as easy as calling the banks and looking online, it depends on what college but you should be able to easily find something cheap if you don't mind living near the hood
>>
>>34130758
Also fuck you Callum! I have potatoes for fucking days, I feed that shit to the chickens. On top of all you can eat venison supplies down the road from me.
>>
>>34130802
It's the safest way to ensure constant growth, the kind bank interest rates aren't giving anymore because they don't need your money.

If 3%/year + dividends isn't your thing then who knows.
>>
>>34130330

So you can't hunt and fish
>>
>>34130997
I was never any good at fishing... Does that make me a bad provider?
>>
>>34130997
Huntings not really much of a skill nowadays, I just walk through the road on a nearby forestry block and shoot a Callum level retarded goat in the face from point blank or wait a couple hours by a clearing for a deer. Fishing is a bit of a rarity for me though.
>>
>>34131009
Fresh water or salt? and for what? I can give you advice if it's trout or eel or perch.
>>
>>34130997
Also fuck you Callum, don't you have some job that you're supposed to be getting fired from?
>>
>>34130330
How old are you?
>>
>>34130744
I'm set, I don't worry about such 6th sigma shit.

Besides, I have fresh water well, lake/pond in backyard, can hunt, fish and trap Plus I have books, acres of trees, live in a rural area and a positive mental attitude.

Me and my neighbors will fuck the shit out of anyone trying to poach resources.
>>
>>34131644
Ok cool, I thought you were some cityfag wasting money on an apartment.
>>
>>34131113
north of 40

>>34130802
take a look at TIAA-CREF management fees for yourself. Better yet, just try to find any scandals associated with the company. I've had underperforming years because I simply wasn't paying attention, and believe me, I took a 15% hit in 2008 - there was practically nowhere to hide from that shitshow. Had to suck it up with money market and zero growth to preserve capital.
