Russian new machine gun chambered in 7.62 NATO
7.62x54R fag BTFO
>Non disintegrating belt
>7.62 NATO
No they didn't.
US SOCOM has requested domestic manufacturing of PKM and DSHK
This truly is the Bernstien universe

>US SOCOM has requested domestic manufacturing of PKM and DSHK
why? they can just buy them from Bulgaria or Poland
>>34125517
the belt is for rimless ammo
7,62x54R is rimmed
>>34125511
If they are lurking
make a belt fed revolver
please and thank you
i'll buy 10
>>34125593
>belt fed revolver
>>34125612
only liberals snide
it's beneath you, honestly
>>34125627
but anon it would end up a belt-fed pistol not a belt-fed revolver...
>>34125627
Have the belt over the case, and fully enclose the case to prevent expansion, and you have real possibilities.
The cylinder is a gear.
>>34125633
I need the revolver for steam punking purposes
Don't judge
>>34125535
Shut the fuck up and let more American companies build shit that isn't ARs.
>>34125627
I-I apologize... After seeing your pic I actually want to see how that would work
>>34125593
Those already exist.
>>34125642
That picture is obviously a mock up as I don't see any signs of a cylinder
If the belt sufficiently contained the brass feeding over a gear like cylinder, it COULD work
>>34125657
Hard to conceal carry
I'm all out of parachute pants
>>34125535
>>34125517
The Czechs developed a non-disintegrating push-through belt machinegun for x54r. This looks similar in most respects. All that is needed is an overhang at the back of belt for the rim to slide across.

>>34125708
No, but I do have a drone that follows me around
Gotta weaponize it for squirrels
(furry little rats)
Let me show it's features
HA HA HA
>>34125517
>thinks 7.62 NATO can't feed in a non disintegrating belt
They can you fucking inbred jizz baby.
>>34125640
how about no
>>34127186
kys
>>34125685
>push through
>rimmed case
Damn crazy Czechs.
>>34125593
>make a belt fed revolver
Done.
Will that be all?
>>34127358
You give a Russian a box with parts and they'll make a gun that works but looks like the box the parts came in
You give a German a box with parts and they're create a mechanically complete monstrosity of clockwork that you can't help but start at awe at
You give a Czech a box with parts and you'll just sit there for hours trying to figure out what the fuck just happened as you slowly get drunk off pilsner fumes
>>34125517
wut?
A lot of countries use non-disintegrating belts in 7.62x51.
>>34125685
That is nothing new, the Finns designed non-integreating push-through belt for 7.62 x 54R caliber version of MG 42 already in year 1943.Since the Germans were no longer able to deliver the parts needed for starting up production in late 1943, the project never got beyond some prototypes.
The guy who designed the belt was Aarno Lahti - Aimo Lahti's (the main small arms inventor for Finnish military from 1920 to end of WW2) brother.

Is he... the Ukrainian Ian?
>>34125511
So uh, what gun is it?
>>34131208
>>34131208
>>34131221
Interesting, they revived the dual feed concept that kind of started and died with the Minimi.
>>34125511
I am intrigued by this

>steampunking

I need this in my life
>>34125517
>Thinks rimless rounds can't be used in disintegrating betls
>What is the MG42?
You know what round has the exact same case-head dimensions as 7.62 NATO? 7.92x57mm.
