Furniture Preference

I like wood better because it looks sexy, but synthetic is pretty much better in every other way.

I think synthetic looks horrible for traditional style stocks, like everything Savage makes, but wood can get scratched. i wish there was some material that looked good didn't get fucked up by setting it down on the wrong surface.

synthetic is shit unless u spend just as much or more than the wood stocks usually cost. common problems include: cracking off at the hand grip very easily, bending and touching the barrel when shooting with a rest, making ur gun look like shit, and being too light which increases felt recoil.

I prefer granite. Extra weight helps balance the recoil
