Ok well since we're here now, /arg/ is now /arg/, /brg/ and /psg/ together: /rg/ - Rifles General

I bought one of the new TriggerTechs for my Bergara and I'm kind of disappointed. The break is just as clean as my old TriggerTech which is extremely superb, but there's about 1/16" overtravel in the new one. The old one has literally zero overtravel.

The click detent weight adjustment is cool as fuck tho.

Found a listing for an "ar15" on armslist in my area for 500 dollars.

I ended up getting a 1969 colt A1 upper for a steal. The sad thing was this rifle was listed on armslist for months and I was mulling over getting it for almost a week thinking it was just some homebuilt A1 clone upper.

The Barrel is in great shape and there is little wear in the upper.

The lower is some Operation Enduring Freedom special run.

I was leaning towards the 2.5x because it seems like it would be nice since its not too much mag to make it really hard for close up stuff but still helps at longer distances.

I don't know of any that cheap, but most of them are around $250, including the 3x versions from Primary Arms and Burris.

I'd stick with Burris or Vortex on these inexpensive optics because their warranty is absolutely top notch. No matter what happens, they will always replace the optic, forever. PA doesn't offer that warranty.
