Theres a H&W produce that sells me bad fruit for cheap cheap cheap. I usually shoot them with shotguns only. It also works well for bear baiting. Get my black bear every year

Ill go to dollar tree or equivilant and pick up a couple 12 packs of the cheapest soda I can find, shake them up, and position them all over my range. Fun and cheap reactive targets.

45 pound plates and oil barrels

Balloons are cheap, high contrast, and at 600 yards they make good sized rifle targets.

I like to play games like:

pistol golf :
hoola-hoop sized "cup"
golf ball anywhere from 15 to 50 yards away
goal is to shoot, with your pistol, a golf ball into the "cup" per each round
"host" decides "par" for each hole (peeps who play bocce ball think of it like that.... meets golf with pistols)
shooting position: your call
shooting distance from golf ball - no closer than 5 feet - no maximum

# of players - 2 to (5)/00
holes played - player's discretion
play at your own risk - be familiar with your shooting area's geographical terrain

For reactive targets - shaving creme is a treat, scrap steel can usually take pistol rounds and steel rocks, but simple paper + a shot timer + structured, scored and timed based drills is still king.
