Good.

I have trouble using the sights on mine, but I've only put 400 rounds through it so far.

Definitely pick up some BX-25 mags or whatever they're called.
>>
>>34118801
im gonna pick up a bananna mag and a drum mag. the banana holds 50 and the drum hilds 110. its gonna be bad ass.
>>
>>34118794
I'd buy that if I already own two. Bx 25 mags and extended mag releases are your friends. Also, learn how to hold the bolt open with out a mag. I've ran into several people who had no idea you could do this.
>>
>>34118801
Get some Tech Sights for it, pricey but better than the factory sights.

Put a round in there and it wont move. Assemble the mag and nothing will be pushing up on the follower. Actually go out and shoot one before you post.
>>
>>34119099
Neat, I've always wanted to see a constant force spring used in a magazine, in theory it would eliminate some of the chance of feeding issues in a full magazine.
>>
>>34118794
Pretty bad in my opinion, you could have used that money to get a superior used bolt action .22
>>
>>34119099
This is supposed to prove what exactly? That the follower moves?

I use my 25 mag all the time without issues (unless i'm using cheap non jacketed bullets for some reason). Still prefer the 10rd simply because they're so small.
>>
>>34118794
You did good OP, enjoy the plinking and become a tree rat terminator.
>>
>>34119207
>Actually go out and shoot one before you post.
That's my mag and I tried it and it failed miserably, this was proven to me when I googled it wondering why it wouldn't feed. Do you think I just bought a mag and took it apart without shooting it?
>>34119275
>This is supposed to prove what exactly?
That the follower rocks inside the mag and jams or just doesn't feed. Right now I tried getting rid of the slack by doing the cut down .22lr shell fix and lubricating it.
>>
>>34118974
What are they doing operating a firearm?
>>
>>34118794
Congrats, now you need to buy a new barrel, new stock, new trigger parts... will cost you roughly $500 extra
>>
>>34118829
I have a promag drum that I may sell
>>34119064
I have a set of tech sights that I may sell

You keep posting this like it means something. Literally all of mine do this as well and they all work perfectly, as I've said before if you're actually having an issue with it Ruger will fix it for you without issue.

But nope, can't do that. Gotta shitpost on the internet.
>>
>>34119099
There is a fix for that.
>>
Not to be like that guy, but I do have problems with my bx-25 magazines in my Ruger 10-22.
First round usually fails to go into battery, and I have to keep racking the charging handle to keep pushing the round into the chamber to fully seat it. Then it'll do the same thing when firing every so often, rounds fail to fully go into battery. Does it with all five of my BX-25 mags, but they didn't use to do this until recently, worked fine before.
Could it be the mags or my gun? I've only got about 1,600 rounds through it, that isn't alot right? Could it be I need to replace recoil already?
>>
>>34122722
The BX-25 is the most perfect mag on the planet. Typing otherwise is shit posting.
>>
>>34118794
>i bought a new Ruger 10/22 for $152 today,

bullshit, post source.
>>
>>34118794
Where?

I haven't seen one below $199 in years.
>>
>>34123816
They were great, but now I'm having genuine problems with them.
>>
>>34123947
>>34124147
It was originally about 220, but it was marked down for a 40% off sale that the place does once a year.
>>34119766
Fuck yeah, how much?
>>
>>34118794
Congrats
Enjoy your glorified air rifle
>>
>>34126923
fuck off, 22 is a great round.
>>
>>34127041
Still feels like an air rifle
>>
i loved my 10/22 but ammo stopped being literal dirt cheap so i moved on to a beater AK

fair warning after a while you will get malfunctions stemming from the mags, at least the ruger 10rd rotary it comes with
>>
>>34127058
well, its goona hurt marginally worse when you're hit by it.
>>
>>34127087
who cares
>>
>>34127081
yeah, an AK is what i got my sights on next (no pun intended). i was thinking about a century arms AK. thsyre usually in the 600-700 range. any thoughts on them? also, you can get 50 rounds of 22 for less than 4 bucks now. the price has dropped dramatically compared to what it was.
>>
>>34127138
>i was thinking about a century arms AK. thsyre usually in the 600-700 range. any thoughts on them?

i wouldn't pay more than $500 for a century, mine's a WASR 10/63 that happened to not be a lemon and it's great fun to blast stuff with, has no problem with cheap ammo
>>
>>34126923
Sorry its not a .50 bro
>>
>>34118794
>i bought a new Ruger 10/22 for $152 today

No, you didn't. $152 is less than what Ruger sells 10/22s to its biggest distributors, and it's WAY less than what retailers pay, including Walmart.

It would be about as believable if you claimed banks were selling 100 dollar bills for $60.
