High bore axis, snappy recoil, shit trigger and ergonomics and polymer ffs. You could've atleast got one of their all steel guns like the MK 25.
>>
>>34114842

Rereading the images just has me asking so many questions. Like, who the fuck was his dad? He literally had THE 16TH FUCKING MP5 IN THE US. And according to OP the house wasn't really anything special. The guns were literally worth many times more by our estimation. So who the fuck was this guy? It's one thing to be some new rich fuck that just buys his way into automatic weapons, but you don't just buy your way into those guns. You have to have connections out the ass to collectors and big collections. Not to mention have the money that goes with it.
>>

it wasn't even that bad. I remember a few anons mentioning how HK USP's were always being sold used at a better price than $800-1000

>>34114837

The Tactical was on sale for a deep discount. About all there is to it. Got it for $892 brand new. On another note, HK does not include the thread protector on a $1300 MSRP gun. You have to shell out another $20 to them to get it. I'm a good goy so I ponied up the bucks.
>>
>>34114858
>Have you ever even shot a USP?
Its a USPC in 45, not a USP, you retard and yes I've shot a USPC and even in 9mm the recoil was relatively heavy.

>How many levels of retarded are you on?
Wtf are you even talking about. Fuck you.
>>
>>34114862

Some Anon's dad dies, he goes to the house and says his dad collected guns and wanted to know if they were worth anything. So he starts posting pictures, and he just keeps posting pictures, and more pictures. He literally built a fucking throne out of NFA HK weapons and their cases that he sat on at one point. The total sum of the collection was probably worth at least anywhere between 750k to 1 million dollars, and that was just what he posted. God knows what else he might have had squirreled away somewhere.

>>
>>34114853
well, after his accidental post of that "one other gun" that nearly everyone told him to take off and never talk about again because of the lettering on that gun, it's safe to wager his dad had cash and some connection of sorts. I think I remember him mentioning his dad was in the navy for a long while, and I'm sure his father knew or was even an LEO at one point.

Also, good on his father for getting everything in order with registered papers and everything for all those guns.
>>
>>34114864
that's just the 40's though, those are being dropped across the board after the whole FBI dropping the .40 thing.
The .45 and 9mm USP's are a tad bit more pricey than the .40 last I checked.
>>
>>34114866
Huh neat, I got mine used (basically NIB) for $850 with two mags, case and the thread protector.
>>
>>34114878

Yes, but that's stupid as the USP was literally designed around the .40 S&W. Just buy .40 S&W +P and call it a day.

>>
>>34114886
while I agree with you on it being stupid, you really shouldn't be surprised that the FBI thing would rattle off a lot of people selling their .40 guns.
These are the same people who would probably buy the Sig anchor because it is used by SEALS and other "trend" setting followers.
>>
>>34114890
really? I remember some people doubting the story, but the threads stopped after a bit because he claimed he was about to get into a legal battle with the step mother.

I mean, unless there was another thread that popped up with evidence debugging all that, I don't remember catching it.
>>
>>34114867
>You could've atleast got one of their all steel guns like the MK 25

I'm talking about this, spud brains. HK doesn't make the MK 25. I'll assume you meant MK 23 or MK 24, both of which HK does make. Even then, however, you are still hilariously wrong. Both the MK 23 and 24 have polymer frames. All HK pistols being made at this time do. The MK 25, made by SIG SAUER, also isn't even made out of 'all steel'. The frame is aluminum you dolt.

The sad thing is that the VP series could have its ugliness reduced by an order of magnitude of that fucking tumor of a backplate and cocked striker indicator were replaced with something that doesn't protrude from the rear of the slide.

Should I go for a USP 45 Tactical or a Mark 23 if I want something fun that could also double as a good suppressed nightstand gun?
The Mark 23 looks fun and has tons of meme power, but it seems ridiculous as anything but a showoff piece for the range, especially since it's almost double the price of the USP while having the same capacity.
>>

Just get the HK45cT. You can suppress it, put 10 rounders in it, put good lights on it and be able to use those lights better.

That post was pretty good information, thanks. The sight options, longer barrel, and vidya stuff do sound pretty appealing, but the USP I checked out filled my hand up pretty well already. Any bigger than that seems like it loses all practicality beyond a range toy to me, like a desert eagle.
The nearly identical design and visuals of the USP, as well as the lower price point and more reasonable size are pushing me towards it at the moment. Maybe when I become a richfag and want more USP I can pick up the Mk23 later after testing the waters with the more "normal" version.
