Look at this thing, I remember seeing it in some magazine a few years ago, IIRC it was some NATO prototype that got rejected and some company here i the states.

Besides from a few Youtube videos this gun is a ghost and I WANT IT SO BAD. Is it worth it /k/?
It takes most AK mags btw

It's a G3 in 7.62 x39. Does that touch your tralala? Then buy it, fag.
>>34097770
Does it have the shitty 12 lb trigger that the ptr91 has? Or a sexy tapco-ish ak47 trigger?
>>34097770
Does it accept ak47 mags?
>>34097880
It takes most AK mags. I know of people who bought it new and it came with polymer hungarian ak-74 mags.

Uhh from what I've read unfortunately it does have the stiffer HK trigger.
It's a 10lb AK that handles like a G3K, absurdly overbuilt for the ammunition it uses, takes G3 and HK93 accessories, and functions just fine with steel cased AK ammo. If that's ur thing, and you can get one for sub-$1K prices, then I'd say go for it.

I would love to but idk if I could ever find one just on the open market let alone paying for less than 1k, which would be nice.

Atlantic was selling them for sub-$1K before the election last year, trust me, I was looking at one before I broke down and just bought a PTR103 instead.

I'm selling one on gunbroker.
>>34097770
why no HK33? you rat basterds I get it means new milling machines but trust me some people would like them.
i want a sako rk95 so bad
>>34098517
that is a shame imo. zenith makes a pistol clone but they said they have no intentions of making a rifle version
>>34098097
This. This is why I won't buy it. Why won't they fix it?
>>34097847
mmm... my ding ding dong

I want a PTR 33 that takes stanag magazines. It wouldn't take much, according to Orion's hammer formula for calculating blowback bolt mass, 5.56x45 behaves very similarly to 7.62x39, a bolt weight of roughly 6.5-7 pounds, and thus the mechanical parts can remain the same. All it would take to convert the PTR 32 to this PTR 33 configuration would be swapping the bolthead to one with a 5.56 boltface and the stanag magazine feed geometry, an adapter magwell block for the stanag magazines, and an appropiately fluted 5.56 barrel.
