Get it and go to the range and be social. Sometimes interaction with people and having a hobby helps defeat some tendencies and helps you keep going.

It's an issue for everyone. We all consider taking the 12ga way out from time to time, everyone across the world. What's important is consistency and intensity. Is this a daily thing? And more importantly, is it just that you occasionally think "I could potentially off myself right now," or is it "I want to die because that's all that's left"? If it's severe, do yourself a favor. Start eating better, work out (even poorfags who can't into gym memberships can still do bodyweight exercises and running), get a hobby and be social. Depression is frequently linked to obesity and social inactivity. Exercise and social interaction can boost your endorphin levels significantly. I for one am happier now that I've started lifting and doing cardio and stopped drinking 2+ bottles of pop per day. And if you're here, chances probably are that you're a fat basement-dweller eating Doritos (with wet-wipes handy to keep dust out of the keyboard). Maybe a gun could, ironically, help you do these things and help you overcome your depression if you have it. Physical fitness can improve your marksmanship- building muscle mass to help hold your weapons steady and cutting out fat to increase your stamina and, if you're really, truly a fat fuck, it'll help you hold your gun properly, and thus making it becomes relevant to your hobbies- extra motivation. Being at the range also opens you up to social situations with people with similar interests! Like someone's gun? Don't be a creepy sperg who stares from afar! If they seem open to interaction, try asking them about it while they're not busy. Maybe you'll learn something new or make a friend. Preferably both. You can overcome this. You're better than to take the coward's way out.

I think about killing myself all the time, like minimum 7 times a week, but I would never shoot myself. Doing that makes you another number for the anti gun people, and besides that it ruins a lot of other people lives.
When you shoot yourself, it makes a mess of the people that find you, it proves to the people that cared that they werent enough, and it leaves no doubt about what your intention was.
Thats why if I ever did kill myself, I'd do it in a way that looks like an accident. Like driving off a bridge or crashing on a dangerous road. That way I give my family a chance to believe it wasnt intentional and maybe make a positive impact to save someone elses life on that dangerous road.
