I have .223 Wylde on one of my rifles and with plinking ammo you'll never notice. Supposedly you get more accuracy with match .223 with the ability to safely fire 5.56.

It's a 2012 model I got a few months ago with 1000 miles on the odometer
I replaced the red fairings with some HRC ones, new windscreen, replaced the levers, added some tank grips and some other random grip panels, added a tiny lithium ion battery and phone mount.

The 249f is aesthically pleasing no doubt, but I'd probably go sf3p. With the sf you get the option of using one of the better 556 supressors if you ever go that route, and it's a bit shorter.

The 249f has kind of fallen into a weird niche for 13.7's that don't want the weight of a KX3 or KX5.

kek yeah, nothing inherently wrong with how you have the front one, gives a miniscule amount of extra sight radius that way, but the back one should be turned around. You should have your front as far forward as it will go and you rear as far back as it will go.

Having issues with mag insertion on my aero lower.
I installed the mag catch, nothing else, and I have to really ram the magazines, tried several types. It takes a shitload of force. Any help?

It sounds like. But the upper receiver itself should not allow a magazine to come up high enough to block the bolt. If the latch cutout were significantly out of spec, the magazine should bottom out on the upper receiver before it latches.

Do you have other magazines to test? Not plastic, and try multiples, loaded and unloaded.

Do you feel comfortable adding a bevel to the bottom edge of the magazine catch?

Magazines unloaded, no ammo at the moment. I have tried both USGI and PMAGS. I'm comfortable fucking with the catch itself, as it's a small and inexpensive part. I already sanded down and rounded out the bevel on the bottom edge a little bit.

If you tried multiple magazines it's probably the lower, but it seems very unlikely to be so far off that multiple magazines do the same thing. Like not just a few thou off but tens of inches, which is virtually impossible.

It's worth a try, Primary Arms have good CS. Try them first. You will have to pay at least one additional transfer fee for a replacement, if either Aero or Primary Arms help you.

Also you could try trimming the top edge off the magazine catch itself, so the magazine sits lower in the magwell.
