Can we get one of these going? I need a solid EDC fighting knife (Portland has been getting fucked up recently and my CCW class was cancelled at the last minute earlier today). I'm thinking of something along the lines of pic related, but I don't really know shit about what's on the market right now.

If this isn't bait, please don't buy Mtech. There are much better options out there. Besides, neck knives are kinda impractical.
>>
>mtech
Seriously dude, don't get that. How much are you willing to spend? Fixed or folder? Folder you'll carry it more

I meant more small fixed blade that only has a single edge. Mtech isn't really on the table. Does CRKT make good shit?
>>
>>34086967
>>34086969

This. You'd be better off with a sharpen stick.
>>
>>34086969
I would say my cap is $70. And I vastly prefer fixed blades.
>>
>>34086981
CRKT is good for the price.
>>
>>34086981
Crkt is decent. If you go for a 3ish inch blade I would strongly recommend an esee izula. If you get the 2 you'll love it so much more because of the scales rather than a steel handle
>>
>>34086986
It made gut be a bit more money but the quality is great for the price and the warranty is second to none be. Break it or chip it even from misuse? They will replace it for nothing. No questions asked
>>
Also looking at the CRKT Obake and the Homefront (if I go the folder route).

Esee Avispa
Best all around edc knife ever.
AUS-8, frame lock, 30 bucks.

I have an esee 3 and 4 for fixed blade, I would recommend the 3 for concealed edc fixed blade.

Portland is crazy. If this thread originated on 5/27 I'd be worrying it was the knife maniac from yesterday.

Also, you're better off hurrying up and getting your CCW and/or learning BJJ
>>
i'm looking to upgrade my knife to a short fixed blade. does anyone know of an esee 3 style of knife with similar quality at a lower cost.
>>

You have terrible taste in everything.

Knife is fine. Unless you buy a RAT 3, which is the exact same knife minus the warranty. Also, heat treatement is _supposedly_ inferior on RAT
