Nice M91 bayonet.
>>34083344
Yeah, I found it at an estate sale a few months ago for around 30 bucks or something. I couldn't resist.
>>34083369
You need something to put it on now.
>>34083384
It's an M1891 Carcano bayonet, and I don't have a Carcano. Its on my list of guns to buy however; I want a mannlicher rifle so bad.

US bayonets are always over complicated. Most scabbards have some flat spring to put tension on the blade to keep it in place. Most bayonets just have a simple button on the side that slides in and that unlocks it from the bayonet lug. The US M1905 and it's derivatives doesn't have either of that. It has the complicated button on the bottom that is connected to a level inside of the grip that pulls down on the latch that holds it both onto the scabbard.
That tiny little button is hard to depress and it was found in Korea that with gloves on it was very difficult to get it off of the rifle. Did they go away from that style? NO. They instead just made the button bigger so a gloved hand can press it.

No muzzle ring.

>it's $80
Fuck everything.
>>34083672
Feel you bro.
>>34082648
>>34083672
You think that's bad? Try finding an original Sword style bayonet for a 1918 SMLE.

AK bayonet are pretty gud desu
I stuck a hog with the bayonet on my paratrooper after I shot it. Norinco 16" SKS.
>>34084808
I stuck a fat possum with a 91/30. Soon after its head was bashed like a splattered tomato by my brother with a sledge hammer. Then I shot it dead.

I have an Ishapore 2A1 and need long bayonet. Is the $90 ebay replica worth a shit? I don't want to damage history.
>>34084902
Yugo bayonets are cool.
>>34084902

Whats the point of a gun if you cant stab somebody with it?
>>34084933
Why? He wouldn't get the damn .22 pistol. I had to do something.
I like to acquire a bayonet for everything I own which can accept one. I'm still searching for a 91 TS bayonet.
>>34084935
This should be K's official zen koan.
What is the bayonet used for?!
TO KILL

Id suck a dick for a M39 bayonet
I could spend the dosh its just they are hard to come across anywhere for sale in the first place. It would probably make me want to seek out a nicer M39 worth putting it on in the fist place if I got one anyway....
even the repros go for 100+ because no one does them anymore, with how popular they are getting on the surplus market I hope someone makes more soon.
>>34085111
Been saying it for years
>>34085168
As I learned it, it was:
"To kill, kill, kill without mercy!"
Also, that "what makes the green grass grow" is "blood, blood, bright red blood". Good times at the bayonet assault course.
>>34085204
I bought one a little while ago. Its pretty neat man, payed way too much for it though
Best Bayonet coming through.
Sweden has best bayonet
Here are my US rifles with bayonets. I need a Trapdoor and an M14-clone next. I left out the AR-15 as it just looks out of place with all the walnut furniture.

>>34084755
I've got an Ishapore III and I'm also looking for a long sword bayonet. Any leads? I saw one at a local gun show for $130 but was rusted as hell.
Is the replica worth it and would it even fit?
>>34086221
Beautiful 1897 anon
America duhhh, where my sword shotguns at?
>>34084755
SOG was selling them for $39.95 just a couple years ago.
>>34086221
Fantastic. Did you get the garand before the prices went retarded-high?
Also is your 1903 shootable? All the reasonably priced ones I'm finding lately are the "EARLY SERIAL COLLECTOR ONLY IT WILL EXPLODE IN YOUR FACE" ones.
>>34086988
I bought my M1 Garland about ten years ago. Yes, my M1903 is safe to shoot. It's been a while since I've put some rounds through it, though.
>>34086221
Outstanding. Hope you find them.
I've always been partial to triangular blade profiles.
The quillion is just icing on the cake.
This right here is a Chilean 1895 bayonet on a Chilean1895 arty/cavalry Mauser carbine
