I need help identifying this revolver /k/omrades. I bought this for $40 because it seems to be broken as fuck and thought it might be an interesting project gun. More pictures to follow.
The trigger design makes me think it's some sort of pinfire revolver. Is there any other markings on it?
I'm guessing Bubba made this firing pin?

are you even try google?

It's a folding trigger which is completely new to me. Seems to be broken as it swings freely but it will dry fire

Maybe he doesn't speak german

That's how pinfire triggers work. The thing might not be broken that much. Post bore pics.
It's a bicycle pistol or a dog pistol.

I will correct myself here, didn't look at all the pics. Seems to be a browning revolver in 7.65mm. I can't tell you much more, as I have done a lot more research into pinfires.

meant a velo-dog pistol
7.65 browning = .32acp
The crown over N is a German proof mark.
Around the turn of the last century, these cheap imports were quite common. Many were made by fly-by-night manufacturers. It's difficult to say if it can be identified precisely, though I can say quite confidently there's no reason to. It's junk.

The text at the top says it's double action, but I suppose that was pretty obvious. It has Belgian inspector marks. Looks like it also had a safety of some sort. It's also missing the ejector rod and mechanism.
The problem is that there were a lot of little shops in Liege who made cheap pocket pistols, and some of them didn't bother marking them (or the marks wore off quickly). Some of those companies even put false markings on to make it look like it was made by a better company. WW Greener noted in his books that they'd copy British company names, but leave bits off- like "A. Greener" or "W. Richards" instead of the real "Westley Richards" which was always wrote out in full.
Without taking it apart further, I can't go beyond Belgium, probably Liege. There may be some other marks below the cylinder here >>34082260 but I can't read them or if they are just pitting. The lack of proof marks is a bit suspicious to me.

In my country you can't even get a broken firearm without spending 400$ on a license to own firearms.
I can't even get a broken black powder loaded revolver.

and the more I think about it, >>34082467 is probably right. The crowns look similar, but that being a nitro proof from Germany makes more sense than an inspector's mark from Belgium. Pic attached.

I met this guy in a grocery store parking lot, exchanged $40 for the gun and went about my way. Such is life in Indiana
>>34082555
:C Its not fair anon. Being no gun is so painful for me but i am poor and will remain a no gun for at least 9 months.
In the end after all the expenses i will need to pay over 1100$ for a shitty rifle
>>34082507
Suspicious how?
Looks like a saturday night a pawnshop near me has one that looks almost exactly like this for 80 bucks

You will appreciate it more. I buy so many guns that I rarely get the true appreciation from a new purchase.
>>34082432
...but it's a revolver...
>>34082732
Ignore my suspicions- it's proof marked for nitro, and German-made. See >>34082467 .

What are my chances of losing a hand if I shoot this thing?

Can you bring it to a local gunsmith? I wouldn't trust my fingers to internet randoms.
