ITt: Anon shows you what happened on his STALKER CHALLENGE ADVENTURE
monitoring this thread
>>34078373
We located a house innawoods. It is derelict, with a substantial portion fucked up. One room was livable and so was made camp. The other rooms were rotten through roof to floor.
>>34078390
Better pic. Most photos are dim and grainy, and the phone was dead by morning. Because of a /k/ meme chat.
>>34078405
The doorway with the Ishapore? It lead to this room. You can see the stalker Aesthetic all too well. If I upload a photo and its shit, its my fault. If it is sideways, blame the iPhone.
>>34078410
There was a massive pile of detritus windblown into the living space we used. It was cleared by vigorous foot slinging and a broken mop stick. The rotten acorns, flaky linoleum and old leaves were brushed into a yawning hole in the floor, in >>34078410 you can see where we swept it. The furniture item was carried out and placed there as well, making further room.
>>34078432
Anyhow, that pile yeilded those items. Milsurp bugspray, newspaper, map of North Carolina, some acetone based foot balm, and other shit.
>>34078481
Found a toilet table. Used the lid as a firebasin; This idea caused significant trouble.
>>34078499
Felt very much of Red Orchestra 2.
>>34078514
We STALKER now
Fucking dim photographs.
>>34078537
Fire burned on the ground. Set a charred spot into the floor. We swiftly fixed that by lifting the toilet tank lid onto logs, suspending the scorching ceramic from the floor.
>>34078548
We fought wildlife.
>>34078568
Out of focus is the cookie and drink powder of the MRE. Some other shit is next to it but I cant recall.
>>34078591
Using headlamp, photo of scorch. We found an anomaly!
>>34078612
Pic of fire. Feels caveman as duck. Smoke caused us several concerns.
>>34078616
>>34078628
Damn it was blurry but I figured it did better to set a scennof what was going on.
>>34078638
Thats pretty much it. No spooky encounters, fire kept away most critters. Smoke and ash deter some bugs. Citronella candle provided good light and insured against insects fucking with us.
Will get more photos another day. We have plans to fortify this structure.
What did you faggots do?
I'll be pulling some similar shenanigans in the North Idaho woods here in a couple weeks. Glad to see someone posting their adventures. Assuming you're a burger, what state, if I might ask?
>>34078696
I wont say state, but Appalachia.
>>34078373
Good shit op, your a2 makes my dick hard. Did you buy or build?
>>34078740
>>34078759
DElton upper. Don't recommend it.
Was it you're property or just a random place in the mountains?
We used the central room for camping. One door and two halls made it somewhat hard to secure. We found loose bugscreen. I use a roofing hammer for a camp hatchet - if I had some tacks we could have improvised some screen. Sandbags would have been nice as well, although we has enough logs around. Even some old ass coal.
Of greater concern is the nearby cave and bear sightings.
>>34078857
It was our private property. If the local cop came all the way up that mountain to ask us what we were doing, "Minding our businesses what about you" would be accepted response because were in all legal rights.
>>34078884
How the fuck did you get spotted? I trespass all the time and have never been caught.
>>34078884
same land, earlier this spring. Same kit in different situation. Tactical doggo came along.
>>34078900
reread it.
>If, Would, Were.
>>34078821
That sucks to hear, thanks for the heads up. What other fun stuff did y'all bring?
>>34078912
Doggo does not like gunfire or woods. Doggo like anon.
>>34078914
Ammo, guitar, MREs, a book, and 200 pounds of shit we dint use. It was largely boring. I am seriously rethinking my kit after this. We debated doing a patrol, but instead opted to leave for fresh coffee and I had work.
>>34078929
Patrols find cool shit like this cave, but more often only deer tracks and fucking pepsi cans. Occasionally
>>34078900
OP said "If"
Gonna do a sasquatch hunt
its really just an excuse to go into he woods and shoot at a pit thats DEEP into the forest. Like a solid 15 miles deep using old DNR and logging acess roads
calling it the sasquatch hunt to bring along some normies
>>34078934
occasionally we escort trespassers off the property. Usually in the spring. fucking hippies with their herbs and rocks.
>>34078944
Sounds good. Keep them armed and interested, make them maintain intervals, and do a dry run one night to weed out the faggots from the men. Invest in glosticks and walkie talkies. Baofeng is good.
I like your A2, OP
>>34078929
This is why when I started going out camping I was also testing my kit, I have dropped a lot of weight from BS I didn't need or use. Makes future camping way easier.
>>34078929
A deck of playing cards is small, lightweight, cheap, and fun if you have 3 or more people.
>>34078951
I plan on it. Ive taken a few of them shooting before at the easier spots but this'll be their first time hauling shit and at a pretty nice distance.
keeping the atmoshere nice an light with the whole "sasquatch hunt" idea I had will be nice for them to carry around my unloaded nugget or 2, while I stay frosty since its that time of year in bear country and they gonna be everywhere eating all MY fucking berries.
seriously though. fuck bears, they eat all the shit I wanna forage out there.
Im also in the process of comeing up with another normie friendly but subtle /k/ as fuck challange. Ive called it the "bunker" we go out into the woods and build a fun little fort out of dead fall or anything else. Dig a trench, cut down a tree, fucking whatever. then spend a night or two in our super awesome pillow fort made of trees and moss.
>>34078966
Damn straight. Underappreciated aesthetic.
>>34078972
Yeah. I go on patrols on family land but dont often camp; college and work inhibited it. I think ill devote a rucksack to my MSS or tie a Czeck bag to my LBE. Shelter halfs would be my go to, but I tend to patrol solo anyway.
>>34078977
Playing cards, a small musical instrument, book, pen and paper, such things are good to bring. I might even get a set of Cards Against Humanity for future use.
>>34078997
I might take on that challenge. Is it cheating to fortify a derelict structure? Etool and a hatchet hammer will make short work of small timber and dirt.
>>34079020
>Is it cheating to fortify a derelict structure
I dotn see why not. Up here there arent many derelict structures on public property that isnt crawling with fucking hipsters so ive mostly modeled the challenge for using the natural environment for your materials and position. But id say go for it.
one of the rules ive set is that you have to create at least one gun port or a section that would be considered an MG nest/ pillbox
you also have to choose a "front towards enemy" direction. Think of it as youre holding the line in a pitched battlefield. meaning you dont have to build for 360 defense. Just pick a direction and defend that
>>34079050
>Just pick a direction and defend that
Yes. Yesss
>>34079020
A harmonica would be perfect for full on stalker aesthetic. Light, small, cheap, and fun to play for a while. A pocket trumpet or kazoo might work as well, but with a bit sillier results.
>tfw my CAH set is gone
>>34079082
Those feels are uncomfy feels.
But it was comfy by the fire tho.
if you accidentally trespass on some property, does doing so with a firearm bump it to a felony?
>>34079132
in most states yes. BUT, there are exceptions made when hunters "accidentally" stumble onto private property in the woods and other extenuating circumstances like that.
as always with anything gun related CHECK YOUR STATE LAWS
>>34079132
Depends on location but if caught, cops assume you are up to no good.
What are the laws for shooting on public land?
>>34079162
state?
For most states its be 100m from a road, dont shoot trees n shit, dont shoot over water. be 500m from any permanent structure. AND FUCKING CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF
>>34079162
Oh and use earthen or gravel backstops, dont just shoot into the wild blue yonder. Make sure you know where your shots are stopping within sight
>>34079201
Oklahoma
>>34079207
I know that already that's basic gun safety knowledge.
I live in upstate NY, what are the general rules for just having a rifle on you in the woods? I'm talking not super deep innawoods but basic bitch trails and shit at like 0000, we have a couple of abandoned buildings near some lakes I live in, but I'm sure it's all owned by"someone"… can I just say the rifle is for self defence againced animals?
>>34079271
Just to add to this, I keep trying to google laws for parks and camp grounds and it seems to be legal but I'm only seeing laws for HANDGUNS not rifles.
>>34078740
if ohio fag lets do a combo camp out
>>34079365
Sorry mate but wrong state.
>>34079373
well its solo again this year
What's a good way to find abandoned structures
>>34079393
Patrol.
>>34079393
find your local hippie herd and stalk them once a structure has been found slowly murder each hippy at a rate of 2.5 a day
>>34079417
2.5 a day is a fucking fast murder rate anon
>>34079451
they travel in herds so you have to keep it up but not alarming that there herd is cutting down when the numbers thin you go down to about three a week
>>34079407
Wew, that is one orange rifle. Got pics of her? Reminds me of the chinese AK furniture. Love that color.
>>34079482
