Bought at the fun show for $250, was told it's 54r.
no usual caliber markings anywhere on the crate where it usually would be on the side, just this wall of text, help!
>INB4 sneak 54r API like that Canadian dude got
>>34066733
What do the tops of the cans inside say
>>34066743
I want to keep the crate sealed.
you lucked out incredibly, second left line says Tracer.
>>34066748
just pry it up carefully instead of like a sperglord and the crate can stay nice while they ammo cans are removed.
>>34066748
Aw man, I was hoping for a decent unboxing thread, possibly including Soviet milsurp dragon dildos.
>>34066748
>I want to keep the crate sealed.
It's already not sealed, the metal strap going around the outside is gone.
Just open it at this point.
$250 is a steal for a crate of whatever the hell it is, since 54r dried up.
>>34066748
open it u faggiot
>>34066784
Why do people keep saying this, i know dealers with pallets and pallets and pallets of it..
>>34066799
Sure you do.
>>34066799
$250 for 880 rounds is .28 cents a round, only person with surplus 54r right now is fedarm for .40 cents a round, before shipping.
blanks you got scammed!
open it goddam it and huff dat spam can air.
>>34066799
where?
>>34066733
>> opens crate and finds out he just bought $250.00 of unusable snowflake ammo
>>34067174
>sells snowflake ammo for $1/round
I'm betting that it's a fucking empty crate and OP just wants attention. There is no reason to spend 250 on a mystery crate to never open it.
>>34066748
Then it doesn't matter what's in it. Does it?
>>34066748
then you just essentially paid $250 for a heavy wooden box with a bunch of Cyrillic stenciled on it

O-okay..

You are wrong.

doesn't narrow it down, tim's guns?
>>34067270
this
OP is a faget
>>34067662
Every mom and pop store in a 200 mile radius of syracuse still has 440 spam cans for 110 before tax.
You gunna open that fuckin crate now or what?
>>34066733
>730rds in here
is that those old as balls lead core mosin ammo on stripper clips or something stealing space so it's not 880?
didn't people have horrible experiences with those? both in shooting, and opening up to find a bunch of corrosion?
>>34067358
>filter by price
and every one that's below 40 cents on that page is out of stock. what was your point?
>>34068411
>http://www.gunbot.net/ammo/rifle/762x54/
Look idk what to tell you, i never use gunbot because my local places are still selling it at around 24 cents a round. Even mauser 8mm is like 190 after tax for 380 rounds. Also thank god I live in a normal place where the 22 panic never happened.
>live in highly populated area of poorfags who hoard ammo
>surprised when you, also a poorfag; cannot readily find your ammo to hoard
Nice anon.
>>34066748
>I want to keep the crate sealed.
I need to find a bunch of suckers like you and load up some crates with bricks and some steel washers for a bit of a jingle.
Tard.
>>34066748
Fucking aspies
>>34066748
Hey, you might be interested in my new product, "a box of rocks with random cyrillic letters written on it," email me at [email protected] if you're interested
>>34067662
Tim's Guns is a possibility. They usually had surplus ammo in direct view of the door.
Could be from Frank's out East. Their ammo prices were usually decent.
I doubt it's from Ra-Lin. The only place more expensive was the Gander Mountain--and only by a hair.

So buy it all up and sell it online idiot. Oh right because no one is selling them that cheap anymore.
>>34066733
Open the crate you fuck
>>34068873
If I buy it in bulk ill be just like the rest of you idiots driving up the price as the dollar depreciates... how do you think economics work?..
I already have like 4k rounds at my camp that I bought for 100 dollars a crate in the early 2000s, tell me again what I'm missing out on?..
>mfw my buddy has 3 mosins all missing their bolts because he keeps them separate for storage
>mfw I have a single chines m44 carbine that I will never shoot so all of it just sits
Wait for someone to get bored and sell their shit man. It's not hard.
>>34066733
Just shipment info.
First line - Rail station Chop, Lviv Railways (Western Ukraine)
Second line - Rail station Čierna nad Tisou, Czechoslovakian Railways
Third line - Shipment receiver 730
Fourth line - Place # 5956/11364
This stuff either came from Slovakia/Czechoslovakia to Ukraine to get imported abroad or was shipped by rail from Ukraine to Europe to be imported out. No way to say which rail station was the sender vs receiver.
There is no info about the contents of the crate at all, at least not on this side.
Also, OP, the metal band from the crate is gone, you might as well open it and see what the spam cans are marked with.
Could be fun stuff...
>>34066748
Then why did you make a thread about it faggot?
>>34069982
If legit, this anon came through. The least you can do is open it for him
