But for real I've always wanted one of the original slide mounted decocker ones. Not the new IWI garbage, had they made rail cuts into the dust cover, like the tristar clones do, it would have preserved the look but they decided to slap on the rails instead and it ruins the sexy slanted lines that lead up to the bull nose front end.

I agree. I hate how IWI/IMI keeps on bringing back old desings like the Jericho and the Galil, but keeps on fucking them up with adding plastic and rails and shit no one wants. The market of tactical carbines and polymer fraimed railed wonder9s is saturated as is, and fagging up their classic designs doesn't do anybody any good.

It's a real shame that IWI can't into aesthetics lately. I wouldn't mind getting another Jericho on the cheap if it had a tastefully done rail and still had the same heft.
Is there any reason you want the slide safety model? I personally have no problem with them but the CZ slide profile combined with the ambi safety throw a lot of people off.

I thing that frame safety are the best way to go and makes more sense on a gun, but if I'm getting a Jericho I'm going full "See You Later Space Cowboy"; and that means a slide mounted safety to get it right.
