Most people don't know, but stalker was a 1979 film

There's an abandoned castle near me that I want to spend the night doing STALKER shit in - it's only open to the public a few weekends a year. The rest of the time it has a heavy duty chain on the gate. Is there any way I can get in? I've tried climbing the walls before and I don't think it's possible, and definitely won't be in full gear. Cutting the chain will definitely lead to someone investigating.

Any of you guys played the Cumulative Pack series of mods? It adds hundreds of hours of content, and has a number of branching story lines some of which are longer than the vanilla story line. You can do quests for and fighting everything from Nazis to Blackwater mercenaries.

Most of the time the gear just looks too clean imo. A lot of outfits would look better with some actual distress; fading from the sun, dust/dirt, abrasion, etc. so it's more believable.
Shitty bathroom lighting and a cellphone doesn't help either. But it's hard to wear stalker outfits outside enough to achieve the worn look because you always look like you're about to plant a dirty bomb somewhere.
