>Canada can own SKS but Massachusetts can't
>>34060693
Lol, how is Massachusetts even American?
I live in Australia so the SKS is a class c item and so the SKS is highly restricted in Australia
>>34060693
Since when can you not have a sks in mass? Did something change since i moved west?
>>34060726
They're not even a state, they're a "commonwealth."
>>34061209
When did you move west? If it was pre-summer 2016, then yeah, a lot did.
It's hard to explain because the politicians don't know shit about guns and can't explain it either, but basically any semi auto rifle that isn't either a .22, or in bullpup config, is illegal to own. No ARs, no AKs, nuttin'
>>34061225
More like Commiewealth
>>34061261
Yeah, it was october 13. Thats terrible, i heard the new AG was a cocksucker but i didnt think it was that bad.
Its a shame, MA could be an awesome state to live in but they keep doubling down on everything that makes it bad.
>>34060684
Isn't the SKS already classified as a carbine? What would the bullpup version be classified? Don't tell me it would be classified as a rifle

Here's what I did to mine.
End result on the right.
I can't tell if mine is modified or not, can anyone help? I bought it with a stock like this, and I doubt I'll be replacing it because I like how lightweight it is. But is this the factory stock or not?
>>34062599
that looks aftermarket synthetic stock trying to look similar to the factory stock. looks like they chopped off the bayonet tho
>>34062626
that isn't my specific rifle, but being Paratroopers, none of them have bayonets.
>>34062599
Yes the Russians were on the cutting edge of polymers and we're the first country to adopt a service rifle using them.
All the rifles that have wood are just fudds going MA WOOD since that's all they've ever known.
I saved mine from tapco.
Replacement stock was $30 on eBay a few years ago. Left it with the tapco upper handguard because it was a B I T C H to get the pin out.
Finally got around recently to buying an original mag. $50
Threw the gas tube in a vice and literally ripped the end cap off the handguard, couldn't punch the pin out at all. The end cap was still attached to the gas tube so I had to force the new wooden one on around it, then pound the end cap into place.
Then the gas tube was having fitting issues when reinstalling on the gun, so the rubber mallet came back out to fix that.
All it needs now is an original dust cover but idk if I care enough to spend $50 on that.

You're retarded MA AWB doesn't fixed mag GFY

Bought an sks in MA on my 18th birthday last August.
I know we have a cucked state but please stop spreading misinformation, faggot.
I just added a sling to my sks, works great. Great for woods adventures, just dont use it as a truck gun
>Norway
>Can own a SVT-38
>Can't own a SVT-40
>Can't own a SKS
>Calls the police about it
>"SVT-38 is a very old semi-automatic rifle so it can be legally obtained now"
>"But what about SVT-40? It's basically the same rifle and SKS is basically a smaller version of the SVT."
>"I don't know"
>*She hangs up*
Fucking kill me. I hate the Norwegian gun laws

Nice paratrooper!
It looks like a cowboy companion someone put in a ramline synthetic stock. Its one of the only light weight polymer stocks.
