I want to hear some actual experience here.
I know you can run faster with an AR equipped than an AK equipped, and I know the AK has significantly more stopping power, but what do you all think?
Red dots improve the accuracy and grips reduce the recoil, but are they really worth it?
I don't really care about showing up on radar so silencers are pointless for me, but would a long barrel attachment be a good investment?

Not me but a friend of mine was fidgeting with his 1911 in .38, thought it was clear, pulled the trigger, and put a hole through a wall and into his washing machine.

Bought an HK USP 9 version one from a friend a couple weeks ago. It was a retired service weapon from a nuke plant, I kinda collect those, so I wanted it bad. Anyways, it was in incredibly good condition, especially compared to the rest of the ones they sold off in that bunch, so I bought it sight unseen for 270, no mags. Got it home, realized it doesn't stay cocked when it cycles. Turns out the disconnector was missing altogether. Ordered one, put it in, found out the safety doesn't always work right, and the decocking lever doesn't work. Also the hammer doesn't go to half-cock when it should. Looking like I'm gonna be a couple hundred more into this damn thing before I get it working correctly. Serves me right for buying a gun without looking it over first.
