After Ol' E-Brake Yeager's disastrous deployment with private security firms, how is it he maintains such legitimacy in the firearms training world? The man fell apart under fire, disabled his own vehicle out of panic, abandoned his men, hid in a ditch, then attempted to blame it on everyone else on his AAR.

The fact that someone can be filmed flopping this hard in a combat situation, yet still produce training products, is mind-blowing to me.

It's all about image. If you portray yourself like some hardcore biker PMC operator instead of some tubby firearms instructor, you can fool more boomers to take your "tactical" training which in reality doesn't really expand much beyond basics.
