Angled or vertical foregrips?
>>34040973
neither
>>34040973
Short vertical grip w/ thumbreak
angled because if the grip is perpendicular it will make the bullet go slower, angled lets the gun move forward which lets you throw the bullet farther
AFGs are fucking memes. VFGs are the way and the light.
>>34040994
Nailed it.
>>34040973
If you do not put your grip the closes you can to the mag, then your a fucking larping nigger faggot autistic trap
>>34040973
it doesnt matter no one here owns any guns
>>34040973
Vertical used with a top meme c clamp grip. Best of both worlds unfortunately
>not just magwell grip
it's the comfiest thing though
>>34040973
Why not both?

>>34040973
VFG is like grabbing a man's penis. AFV is like cupping a boob. So it depends which way you swing.
>>34041406
So what's the trap of grips?
>>34041406
You obviously never touched a D-cup before.
>>34041663
A stop.
>>34040998
False.
Angled foregrips are for mall ninja hipsters trying to be tacticool.
Imagine actually thinking that an AFG makes you shoot better instead of looking like a dweeb.
>>34040973
>falling for the foregrip meme
handstop is for real men
fuck u faggots
>>34041064
and least stable firing hold. congrats you a shit
>>34040998
I run both on an AR-10 16" carbine. AFG up front by the magwell for comfortable handguard grip, with a VFG in the middle. The AFG up front makes it more shaped like an AK handguard, which I'm more accustomed to, but the vert foregrip in the middle makes it easier for me to control recoil while aiming through optics. It looks dumb but the AFG up front helps with my carpal tunnel.

It depends on how the rest of your rifle is configured and the mission it's intended to fill.
If you have a CQB ambi rifle with a surefire X300 or TLR-1 mounted at 12 o'clock an AFG makes the most sense because if puts your hand at a very natural angle that doesn't cause cramps as quickly or weaken ability to retain your rifle whilst also placing your thumb with very easy access to the light's controls, front BUIS spring release, and 12 o'clock position for use of a thumb over bore grip.
If you have a tape switch at 12 and different devices at 3, 6, 9, and/or 12 o'clock a shorty vertigrip makes the most sense because it offers the most precise hand indexing point and thus minimizes the liklihood of ND'ing one of your devices
If you have a rifle for rapid and sustained fire, a full length vertigrip and a light at either 5 or 7 o'clock a full length vertigrip makes the most sense because it keeps your hand away from the hot barrel.
I generally choose a 5 in 1913 section with a QD slot close to me, a hand stop just barely in front of it, and the rest bare for double duty use as an AFG and accessory mounting area for a bipod if my rifle needs to be pressed into a SAPR role or a vertigrip if I need to worry about the barrel heat beating the ability of my gloves to insulate.
Whatever is comfortable for your wrists. How the way you hold your own gun became a meme I'll never know.

Angled fore grips only exist because vertical fire grips are forbidden in some states.
>>34041701
That's pretty much the only thing everyone here agrees on: it's shit!
>>34040973
mission dictates gear
>>34042429
I've been bouncing back and forth between virtually everything suggested here, but I think I've settled on an AFG.
>>34042429
>>34041918
>>34041810
But these three got it right; it depends.
>>34040973
Used hand stop and vertical grip before but never a angled, also I prefer the vertical grip over the hand stop
Literally doesn't matter and anyone who claims one is better than the other is a mallninja.
>>34040973
i like short vertical grips like the one on the right
>>34041016 but moved up to the end up the rail system
>>34040998
>angled lets the gun move forward which lets you throw the bullet farther
>which useless piece of plastic is better
>>34041406
>he broomhandles VFGs
do you even operate?>>34041663
>>34040998
what about a parallel grip?
>>34040973
vertical is just uncomfortable
>>34040994
this
>>34041767
>cannot kill a submarine with a tank.
Bitch, please.
foregrips suck ass. every time i pick up a rifle with a foregrip it never feels right. my afg has been sitting in the gun box for years. i just grab that handguard and it feels perfect.
>>34043985
How do you think the moon got it's craters.
>>34043985
lets you throw bullet even further
>>34040973
VFG on the fucking side.
>>34041701
Handstop is the only acceptable answer here.
>>34044402
Forgot pic
>>34040973
Im actually not sure. I had a really bad break a couple years back on my weak side wrist so the angled grip helps my wrist rest in a more natural position but I switched to the BCM vert grip and I feel like i get a better grip on the gun
