What is the right price for originals or repros?
I would like one for my chink gun.

Don't. They jam more than fucking ProMags. Just get yourself some Tapcos and call it a day, since you can get them for 15-20 a piece and those fixed 20rounders run 60 at the lowest.
why not leave your poor sks alone and get an AK for your 10+ capacity desires?

I lack stripper clips and have an innate need to fire this rifle. Bought it from a co-worker for 40$. The gas tube was rusted shut when I got it. A punch set and some clp fixed that. Then i just blasted the barrel throat with solvent and scrubbed the shit out of it and it functioned fine.

Stripper clips aren't too hard to find online or at gunshows. Plus, you hardly even need them in the first place.

Don't listen to this man, he lies
>>34040385
because AKs cost about twice as much as an SKS now
>>34040731
>sks 450
>aks 700
>either of those being 'expensive'
If you cannot afford even a 1200 dollar arsenal you're probably in the wrong hobby.
>>34040731
PSA had a 2 gun deal - Basic bitch PSA AK and AR for 950. They sell stripped AKM's for 350.

I understand that. I really enjoy feeding in rounds after locking the bolt back. The gentle recoil is soothing.
>>34040731
then save twice as long to get one.
>>34040305
Star 20 rounders work fine. It's just that the price for them is killer.
>>34040385
It's a collector's piece in it's own right you memetard slavaboo.
>>34040299
The "right price" is what you can get one for.
If you only paid $40 for the rifle, you're going to be paying at least twice that for a fixed 20 rounder.
>Star or no Star.
>>34040299
>I bought a gun that's not an ak but I want to make it more like an ak, but less reliable and more expensive than if I had just bought what I wanted in the first place
This is you
>>34040385
>why not leave your poor sks alone and get what you don't want?
we're talking original 20rd magazines, not tapco, or SKS-M magazines here
>>34042351
>more expensive
Uh $40 + $40-80 (20 rd mag) = $80 - $120. Still cheaper than any AK I know of. Have a (you).
