Post handguns.
Fight about handguns and handgun calibers.
Also isn't it amazing that we live in a time where one can buy a high capacity, reliable, handgun that shoots ammunition that's readily availabe at most gunstores/ sporting good stores/walmarts for under 400?
Pictured: My 1911s. I like 1911s. Fight me about it.
I like my Steyr, and 1911's are clunky and slow.
>>34031930
Which of those is your favorite and why?
>>34032073
The Sig Tacops 1911. (The one with the black and blue grips and the flashlight).
It's my John Wick Gun. It's accurate, balanced, has a great trigger, night sights, and it's just a joy to hold and shoot. I put it in a foam hard case and it sits in a location, lest I ever need to break it out.
>>34032059
>Clunky and slow
It's a handgun not a car. What the hell do you mean clunky and slow?
>>34032089
>clunky and slow
He's one of those downies that can't figure out how to work a well placed thumb safety
I just got a Canik TP9SF for CC. Did I do good?
>>34032122
Yes. Yes you did.
Now here's what you should buy next: A fuckton of ammo to practice and practice and practice, a good leather or kydex holster, and more ammo.
Most major manufacturers of ammunition make good self defense ammo. No it really doesn't matter as much as people will tell you that it does. HSTs, Gold Dots, Critical Duty/Defense, Winchester Defend/Ranger Ts will all work fine..

That's pretty as hell.
>>34032141
Glad to hear it. Impulse gift from the girlfriend, and after the fact I looked up some reviews and they all look pretty sterling to me. I have a few places online bookmarked for a kydex holster, but I am not brand familiar, so I would appreciate some suggestions on holsters and belts as well. Also suggestions for under mounted flashlight, or why I should/shouldn't get one, as well as any other accessories for it.
>>34032170
Thanks.

>remember reading a story about a grandpa who posted an ad for a Hi-Point on craigslist for a reasonable price
>anon went to pick it up
>it was actually a Hi-Power
How much should one pay for a Radom nowadays?
Here's some more. Ignore the paper, I have a fondness for funposting.
>>34032178
>Flashlight
Don't even bother unless it's a HD weapon. The reason being trying to find a holster that will fit it AND the gun will be downright impossible, and you'll have to have one made.
>Kydex Holsters
Got no clue on that. I'm partial to Bladetech and Galco.
>Belts
Comptac kevlar reinforced belt for leather. Riggers belt for non leather.
It is a nice handgun, and it should serve you well.
Heres the latest family picture. Added the USP last month, finally shooting it tomorrow
>>34032211
What caliber is it?
>>34032205
>I'm partial to Bladetech and Galco.
This is why you cant find a holster that fits a light. There's literally dozens if not hundreds of kydex companies. It's not hard to find a gun/light holster.
>>34031930
why would you buy the same gun 5 times?
this tuesday i'll be adding another member to the family....
>>34032178
I agree with soulbro on the belt, and as you can see im a huge fan of comp-tac holsters as well. fuckin comfy
>>34032188
how do you like that little sig? im tempted to get one for babbys first pocketgun
>>34032364
>all 1911s are the same
Polymer fags believe this
>>34032364
At least it's not 5 glawks
Looking for a 9mm range toy. Concealed carry isn't an option in my state and I already have home defense guns.
I was looking at the 92FS, after firing a few different guns it was pretty much the only handgun that I felt fit right.
Of the different variations (92FS, 92G, 92A1, M9, etc.) which should I be looking at or considering?
I don't really see the need for anything rail mounted by the way.
>>34032928
92G is what I want but apparently they're hard to find. So just get a FS.
It shoots a bit to the left, but it's not bad for 74 years old. I have dreams of replacing the barrel and re-refinishing it a deep blue.

My kids.
Sorry phone was plugged in the charger

I'm planning on getting the 5" PPQ soon, or is it worth it to spring for the Q5?

.45 is outdated
I just have a .22 ruger mark IV right now, and I want to get a nice 9mm target pistol.
I'm in Canada so it wont be used for defense or CCW, what are some good options?
I liked the feel of the CZ75 but it really felt like the trigger didn't have a good point of when it would go off. there was a lot of take up and no real break to it.

>grandpa H signed holster

Met him and John at buds back in the early days. They are tall humans.
I've sold ~ 12 handgats in the last 2 months, down to 5 HKs
>sweetsoulbro
Welcome back negro - still at ga tech?
Decided to give my UTC a break and carry the monolith for awhile.
>>34032675
Love it. It's just a mini 1911 that fits perfectly in my hand and points surprisingly naturally for it's size.
Just got a makarov and I like it more than my 1911.
>>34032675
How do you like that Sphinx?

>>34038712
Oddly enough I have a few boxes that my grandfather gave me years ago, also plan on getting a .32 acp cylinder for cheaper shooting, plus I can reload both of those
>>34038890
Good luck to you.
It's not what I would have bought but whatever!
>>34033946
How do you like that canik?
>>34038155
The trigger is fucking excellent, and the tolerances are super tight - everything feels like it was hand fit. it works perfectly with the suppressor (unlike the glock,) and it looks pretty damn good, too. it would be my favorite pistol but the sights are off, and not adjustable. one of these days ill get around to fixing that.
