It swivels fine but I thought the bayo was suppose to fit fully in the stock cutout. Like recessed. The point of the bayo sticks out like it too long or something.

Once I put it on yes. It is a Norinco so I bought a Norinco bayonet. Also I read that the blade bayonet stock was suppose to be v shaped. Spike was suppose to be a U shapped cutout.

You need a cleaning rod and a blade type bayonet. The stock you have is meant for a blade type bayonet and the gap between the bayonet and barrel is for the cleaning rod
