What are you going to do with it once you catch it? I kind of want to skin one on the off chance I ever catch one with my trap, but I'm running into a lot of confusion on the best way to do that, and whenever I ask I get weird answers. So what would be the one, definitive way to skin a cat?

OP, if you're serious and really wanna know, the answer is a simple flat laying cardboard box of any size, like in pic related. Put some blankets and a bowl of ground beef and a bowl of drinking water in there too. My cat totally ignored a new play set I got for him, in favor of the box it came it. Cats love feeling safe, one of those ways is inside a box in which the only way to get to the cat is a single direction, secure on other sides.

I guarantee you he won't be able to resist that. Please do not shoot your new kitty friend

My uncle and I would use these on Marthas Vineyard to catch skunks that littered my grandpas property. We'd catch them one night, check the traps, and dispatch them then following night
