Arsenal makes the Best AK's (not much to argue against)
And i find it to be better then mine amd most of my friends AR's and more durable too.

Depends on the POU dude. WROL I'd go with AR every time. Hunting would be an AK with a nice optic. Pirate defense? Uhhh I'd say AR 10. Your mileage may vary. AK's are Second kind of cool though, I can dig it.

Define best.

If you're just talking about killing other humans, I think the AR is a better choice for most people most of the time. Super easy to shoot, easy to handle, easy to aim, easy to accessorize.

If you're going to talk about doing other roles or being more of a catch all, maybe the AK can challenge in some tests.

That said, I love the AR and it's my go-to for a lot but I fucking love shooting my AK. So satisfying.

They're both generally fine guns. In my experience, AKs are better for shooting 7.62x39 and 5.45x39 as well as .308 if we're only comparing with AR-15s, where as ARs are better for shooting 5.56 or .300BLK or 10mm/45/9mm. Other calibers are available for each system but the ones I listed are just the ones I've had personal experience shooting with. It really just boils down to the user's personal preferences and comfortability with each rifle and caliber.

I personally prefer my PTR over my Arsenal AK or my Colt AR.
