Hunting guns, smg's and pistols.
>>
>>34010916

They've never historically needed them, really.

Any time a war has broken out and people where invading everyone they all looked at Poland and said "fuck that shit"

They just lack the historical culture of needing to own a gun.
>>
Would love to fly over these under 10 guns per 100 countries and drop cheap guns with one mag and 100 rounds.
Id know what landed and would never say just to know what %were not turned in. Romanians probably have ass loads more guns but arent saying, same with greece

Poland has different weapons.

Ownership of firearms was never popular here, add to that shitty gun laws and general unawareness about them and you have the current situation. On a side note, there are estimates that there's around half a million of black powder guns, which don't require license or registration and thus doesn't figure in such statistics.

Polandball here. Right now gun laws here are not much stricter than in the rest of Europe. If you are not criminal or crazy, getting gun license is perfectly doable.

But most people in PL are simply not interested in shooting. Also gun crime is extremely rare, so for many, something like pepper spray and baton is enough for self-protection.

>>
Kind of surprised the Czech Republic doesn't have more, given that they have arguably the most permissive laws in Europe.
>>
>>34015608
That could be it, considering that East Germany (excluding Berlin) should have about as many terrorist attacks as Poland.

>In 2016, following a number of terror attacks around Europe, Zeman joined a number of other Czech politicians and security professionals in urging the 240,000 gun owners in the country with concealed carry licences to carry their firearms, in order to be able to contribute to the protection of soft targets. Zeman's wife obtained a concealed carry license and a revolver.

>Ministry of Interior proposed a constitutional amendment on 15 December 2016 aimed at providing constitutional right to acquire, possess and carry firearms. The proposed law would, if passed, add a new section to Constitutional Act No. 110/1998 Col., on Security of the Czech Republic, expressly providing the right to be armed as part of citizen's duty of participation in provision of internal order, security and democratic order.
>"Citizens of the Czech Republic have the right to acquire, possess and carry firearms and ammunition for the purpose of protection of life, health and property and thus participate in the provision of internal order and security as well as of territorial integrity, sovereignty and democratic order of the Czech Republic."

Are you kidding me? A fully milspec AK costs here the equivalent of less than $150 - it's just that the general public is strictly forbidden to own one. Hell, all firearms except those strictly made for hunting are strictly forbidden, so no handguns of any kind and even hunting rifles are strictly regulated. Not even the ammo is free, you need a permit to buy it and you can buy only the approved types and show it has been used - so no reloading, this is a crime.
The closest anyone average can get to an AK is by buying an airsoft replica that costs 3 times -and they are absolutely everywhere.
If we would have been allowed to buy the real thing Romania would be on par with USA.

Retarded laws.

All kinds of licenses are may issue, open carry is haram and concealed carry is may issue for 200 civvies total - so you can guess that all those 200 civvies are friends' of friends' of friends'.

You get the idea.
>>
>>34010916
Too much of a pain in the ass to obtain a license. Long and fairly expensive process.
>>
>>34011116

>>34015448

The map is fake news - most markings seem to be be phony, since they mark attacks that have never happened.
>>
>>34015448
Don't think there has been that many in norn iron what is this considering a terorist attack
>>
>>34014795
Because the last war that had actual occupation in Europe happened over 75 years ago.
>>
>>34014831
Nah, even the most poor could afford an AK, it's less than 150 euros and most of us have a smartphone that are worth more than that.
>>34015314
Because guns are evil and dangerous according to all the governments we had , and the common citizen doesn't need them - you only need a bat for the gyppos.
>>
>>34015412
Not surprisingly but yes, here in Romania we do have one of the smallest number of violent crimes in Europe and most are just drunks and crazy people, just be careful with your wallet when you go near gyppos and state officials and be on the lookout for everyone behind a wheel.
>>34015448
Well, we have plenty (as in about 2%) of local muslims and no guns whatsoever, and those only 2 attacks done here have been done by clinically insane romanians trying to blow up empty (no, that's no joke, empty) gas household cans.
>>
>>34015921

Nah, explosives and sabotage win insurgencies not so much guns. YouTube tutorial can show how to make a bomb or a flamethrower more effective than a shotgun or pistol.

Gun ownership is for sporting and crime.
>>
>>34015448
Those are all the terror attacks, not just those done by muslims

>>
>>34010916
Because most people don't feel the need to have guns. The gun laws are actually fairly uncucked.
>>
>>34011427
This, same applies to most ex Warsaw pact nations. Totalitarian governments don't like having armed population, and once the restrictions are gone it takes time for gun culture to develop.
>>
>>34010916
Very restrictive laws. Fortunatelly it changed a couple of years ago. As of 2015 there were 2.6 guns per 1000 people. And the numbers are still growing pretty rapidly.

This is not counting blackpowder weapons, which you can buy without any licence and don't have to register. According to the recent estimates there are around 500k blackpowder guns in Poland (mostly Civil War period revolvers), so it makes it 13 guns per 1000 people.

So all things considered, the number should be around 15.6 guns per 1000 people.

There are like 2 million gun owners in germany with ca. 5 million guns, but it is assumed that we have 20 to 40 million illegal guns, most of them are from before 1972, when you didn't need a permit for smallbore rifles, repeaters or pistols like the PPK.
