Would /k/ pay 1000 smekles + tax and fees for this space gun?
I already have an AUG and I want more bullpups so I can decide what I like for myself.
>>
If I'm dropping four figures on a bullpup I'll get an MDR, not a 4MOA Jewish poop stick.
>>
>>34006552
Your thinking of the x95 that has accuracy problems, and the MDR isnt even out yet and cost more than twice what I posted.

Can you seriously not tell the difference between the SAR and x95?
>>
>>34006545
Only $1k? Yes.
Their normal going rate of $1,700? Fuck no
>>
No. Before I handled one, I would have, but then I played around with one and hated it. I wouldn't pick it up.

Except to resell.
>>
>>34006691
Yes. For $1k, you buy it, shoot the shit out of it, and resell (if you dont like it) for more than what you paid.
>>
>>34006697
That's what im thinking, if it's totally something I hate I can sell it in my state for around 2k, and with tax fees and making it legal it'll cost about 1260$ total

/k/ is retarded when they see a bullpup.

Also
>summer is coming

Fight me on the bipod fags and the dmag. We space gun.
>>
>>34006545
Not that one in particular because I hate tan/FDE. But yeah I'd pick up a Tavor for $1000.
>>
>>34006734
If you are getting one for 1k the you are in the green. Would recommend the geissle trigger and trigger pack.

Also the manticore arms switchback charging handles the shit.
The bipods a neat thing to have since it sits at the right level.

Noguns detected

Fackin' sort yourself out senpai.

Do it OP

The TAR is a good rifle.
>>
>>34006827
(((You)))
>>
>>34006758
Seems like it's worth it.
Only problem is that the plastic stock has been cerakote covered, and is FDE ontop of ODG.
Not sure how it looks because pics aren't super great but the handguard looks neato and it'll sell for sure.
>>
>>34006836
Post pics?
>>
>>34006834

Sorry buds
Not shilling.

I just really like my Tavor.

It was my first gun.
She shoots nice.
Eats anything you fees her.

2 MOA or less.
>>
>>34006816
Not noguns, just new to jewpups.
What's the difference between SAR and tar? Never heard of that distinction.
>>
>>34006552
>supporting Mormon fundamentalist polygamist cults financially
>>
>>34006844
Never mind im a fuck stick.

The handguards are way mor sturdy than the current ones IMO. Mine is pretty snug but I do plan on getting that handguard at some point. Might even get the one that allows you to mount a weapon light inside it.

TAR/SAR are the designations for Gen 2 - 2.5 Tavors.

SAR is the US made/assembled ones.
TAR is the Israeli made Tavor.

X95 are the newest gen. Slighly more compact with alternate mag release and charging handle moved toward tbe rear.

They are apparently less accurate. I habe not testes them.
>>
>>34006847
X95 has diffrent controls and ergos and shit barrel harmonics.

SAR tavor is IWIs first bullpup import and the original .

but is has nothing to do with Desert Tech being owned by the polygamist tax cheating Kingston Clan
>>
>>34006859

>buying first gen non military vaporware
>>
>>34006892
I understand the difference between SAR and x95, which is why I chose SAR.
What's the TAR>>34006816 this Anon mentioned
>>
for $1k, sure, if you really want one. Just remember that the manual of arms will be different to anything you've ever shot before, which will increase your chance of making a dangerous mistake.

>I just sold my RDB and bought a Scar 17

It was a fun rifle, but it was nothing more than a novelty and a range toy.
>>
>>34006893
Pretty sure thats the handguard that you can mount a flashlight in actually.
>>
>>34006900
that too
>>
>>34006902

Read back posts.

TAR are the Israeli manufactured/imported Tavors.

Ameriburgers cant into them but Canadians get them.
>>
>>34006886
Pretty sure the TAR is the IDF varient with the giggle switch like anon posted here>>34006902
>>
>>34006936

The semi-auto made ones are designated TAR-21 as well.
>>
>>34006936
Or what this anon said>>34006914.

Can any cunucks weigh in on this? Any glaring diffrences or is it just a change in where its made/roll marks.
>>
>>34006914
Is there some major difference in quality between the UsA factory and the Israeli one?
>>
For just a grand?
Yeah, sure, why not.
That's chump change.
>>
>>34006949

Only difference is where its made.

My TAR has MADE IN ISRAEL rollmarks on the barrel.

Im also not ceetain if ALL SARs are mil-spec.

Tavors in Canada up til a few months ago have all been mil-spec.

Apparently newly imported TARs are not even from Israel but I cant confirm.
>>
>>34006963

Potentially.

The Israeli ones are mil-spec.

American ones may have used Israeli barrels.
You really need to look it up.

They may have done some cost cutting inna States.

Usually its why you ALWAYS hear burgers complaining about Tavors and never hear any Leafs complain.
>>
>>34006967

Not even Mil-Spec ***
Still made in Israel.

Our X95s are Israeli made too.
>>
Tl;dr

Buy an SAR if you want a decent reliable bullpup.

AUGs are nice too.

Dont buy a Mormontech
>>
>>34006996
You say that like it's even possible.
>>
>>34006545
I would
>>
>>34006977
Alot of guys complain because "its not a ar-15 so its shit" mentality . hand anyone a aug or fs2000 and they will bitch and moan.
>>
>>34006996
>>34006999
The MDR looks really cool, but for 2500$ for an unproven bullpup that is almost guaranteed to have some kind of problems (even if it is covered by the manufacturer) just seems pie-in-the-sky to me when the RDB is only 800$ and has amazing reviews from everyone despite being kektech.
I owned a ksg and it was fun, sold it for some better optics tho.
RDB is next, I want a bullpup collection so I can tell for myself what I like and if bullpups are a "meme" or not.
I have a feeling I'm just gonna like all of them because they're guns and I'm not a high-speed low drag operator like nutfancy
>>
>>34007044

I have the same mentality.

I like to own many guns as long as the quality is decent.

I have my HI SPED LO DREG HABBEDING rifle.

The rest are just gravy.
>>
>>34007039
>"its not a ar-15 so its shit"
This is true though. The Tavor is similar in most regards to an AR, but costs a lot more.
>>
>>34007083

Its more similar to an AR 18.
And only because of the bolt and gas system.

It costs a lot more because it doesnt have everyone and ita mother making parts for it.

Buy an AR if you need a Honda Civic.

Not everyone wants to have what is the communist equivalent of a firearm.
>>
>>34007083
Im talking more in the ergos and controls.

Its like buying a bike then bitching and moaning it isnt a truck.

So do u buy an Aug, tavor, or RDB.
Fuck the Mormon making vaperware B's and not being able to meet release dates, they should have done thier job and made a more sensible date to release if they knew they were relying on others to fill parts and labor on the damn thing.

How do gun business stay afloat? With what's happened recently with Springfield wtf.

From a proper investment/business standpoint I feel like IwI is really the only company that has good practices and backs up it's product with an aftermarket.

Why do bullpup threads sink so fast. Talk about yourbullpups people.
>>

>>34006545

only bullpups i want are bolt-guns, makes more sense putting a bolt-gun in bullpup format than it does a semi-auto rifle

better for backpacking, better weight distribution with a centered heavyweight barrel, looks cool

pic relate, integral suppressed bullpup k31
>>
So, what does one look for when getting a bullpup?
Is it purely ascetic reasons?
Or are there specific bullpup features to look for that make one choice more appealing than another?

Pretty much just these.
I'm buying them for the resale value and the fun factor. Trying to see if I can find a good disaster gun in the bullpup design too , so far the ones I've shot feel really good, then again I'm a small guy with big hands so I'm pretty peculiar about my guns.
>>
>>34006545

Did the AUG just never really catch on in the US? I find them everywhere and the parts aren't hard to get, though prices range from kind of expensive to "I'm spending $950 on a few inches of rail section and a bipod and $450 for a CHF barrel" expensive.

I can't explain why, but for the past month my AUG lust has returned in full force and I'm going to try to convince myself to pick one up next week. A little excited to find out if Geissele is actually working on an AUG trigger for release this year.
>>
>>34009588
Do it, you wont regret it
Despite what anyone says the trigger is fine
I think they are tavor owners
The trigger pull is a bit hard, but i like it.
It is the same trigger as the military version and is full auto
>>
>>34009588
If they were $500 cheaper they'd be everywhere.
But they're not, so they're not.
>>
>>34006552
>MDR
Why spendin two four figure numbers over Mormon shit when you can get a steyr for the same price or less like the kikepub. Even a Lelkek has it for less

This is what i'm gonna get next
its 308, made out of AR10 parts, takes AR10 mags, Costs $2000 but takes like 4 months to make
Ordering mine in a week or 2
>>
>>34009588
Handled one, hated the safety

Also I think the heavy trigger is a must, since your hand is essentially inside the trigger guard
>>
>>34008494
good lord what is that rifle on the bottom
that thing is hot
>>
>>34009713
Having shot my buddies aug and my own tavor I would place them on par of each other. Only reason I went for the tavor was because I could use my ar-15 magazinzes and lord knows I have a shit load of lancers and not need to buy snowflake mags.

I have a bit of a aug bug currently and a few others I have now that I dont need to panic buy as hard.
>>
>>34009756
It'll totally come out this month, guys. The MRD will be released this summer. It WILL come out in 2017.
