No, get an IMBEL kit while they last.

Why are the Imbel kits so sought after? Surely by now a US manufacturer would have a good FAL for sale.
>>33996337
Seems like a good deal but incomplete kits, dunno how to source a receiver etc?
>>33996354
I don't know, but they are commonly thought to be of high quality; they are just below a Steyr. You can also fnd Chilean (IMBEL) kits that have been fired less than a couple hundred rounds, and IMBEL upper receivers can be had too. They're not everyone's cup of tea but they were at least made on FN machinery. All that for about the same price as a DSA Voyager.

>how to source a receiver
Check the files marketplace or just get one of these

Interesting. I did handle both an Imbel and a FN when I was in the hue army, they were pretty much the same. And wobly, but thats expected for a 60+ year old gun.

I bought an 18" Voyager from Atlantic a couple years back, and besides the break in period (feeding issues due to excess material on the feedlip-magwell contact point, which went away after about 100 rounds) it's been pretty spot on for me.
That said, IMBELs and otherwise are probably built much better, especially after DSA went cast receiver.

This seems like a better deal

Stupid question but how is FAL pronounced? Phonetically or as an acronym?

>IMBELs and otherwise are probably built much better, especially after DSA went cast receiver.
>parts guns are built better than a scratch built high tolerance rifle because the receivers are produced a little differently before milling
Voyagers are meant to be cheap, so expect them to be lower quality.

No wonder we're infested with faggots and trannys.

If I could get one for a reasonable price I would buy in a heartbeat.
The L2A1. Longer barrel, higher capacity magazine, stealthy bipod. Everything I love about a gun.
>>33996337
What's the reason non bipod cut barrel and handguards are more expensive?
I was planning on buying a parts kit from him on gunbroker, didn't see that thread.

what a shitty thread
