You have to catch them again the right time. Buds had some around Nov of last year for about 250 that were surplus from Israel. At least if you want the one without the rail.

They are easier to find if you search for "baby eagle" if you don't mind not having the "jericho 941" stamp.

I'm a big fan of saying nothing is best because each user is different with needs and wants. Some stuff is great but if someone says what's the best handgun for everything. .. the g19 is my go to. It's simple, takes abuse, cheap, can hold a lot of rounds, good chamber size, light enough, not bad recoil, can conceal, accurate, fool proof... you get my point. A g19 isn't perfect but every gun owner should give them respect due. Full disclosure I don't own one because I'm a hammer fag.

I can only speak as a current service member with as much or more time on the M9 as anyone in this thread. I fucking hate the M9. It's Xbox huge next to any other comparable 9mm and I've seen multitudes of locking blocks break. I'm thankful that I get to use a G19. I also think that transitioning to the SIG to replace the M9 is a dumb idea too. They could've just pushed the 19 service wide, but muh shekels and contracts.

A lot barrels have replacement locking blocks not constructed out of spec materials and with low QC. It's also the first part to fail on the handgun and since most armorers are shit, they don't keep track of rounds fired or perform proper quarterly services. Blame your armorer or FSC for not keeping up on maintenance.

Or. since you think you're so high speed, perform a proper before-PMCS on the weapon and annotate worn parts on the 5988/2404 like you're supposed to. But you won't, because you're just some meddac/mi fag larping online as a sf canidate.

Also, what the fuck is this shit about it being big? It's a full size pistol and not really bigger than any other full size.

there's no real difference in a 92 frame and a 96 frame. it's only the barrel. and beretta strongly recommends against using a aftermarket 357 sig barrel on any of their pistols not rated for 357 sig.
>>
>>33997226

>>
>>33997226
Is there any difference in the pressure from a standard .40 and a 357 sig? I wouldn't imagine they're much different, just Beretta covering it's ass.
>>
>>33997509
(You)
>>
>>33997500
If we're being specific, then yeah, it's less prevalent for service pistols because it's less tactical. Magazines are more disposable today, so it's easier to just drop em.

For concealed pistols though, the increased retention of a heel release is excellent.
>>
>>33997689
He said there's nothing wrong with a heel mag release. You admit there is definitely something wrong, to the point that they are only justifed on deeply concealed pocket pistols, which the P210 is not. In fact no 9mm is truly a pocket gun including the Kahr PM9. Thus, guns with heel mag releases do not belong in this thread.

the only pistol that beretta made for the 357 sig was the cougar 8357. from what i have heard, it had some pretty bad issues. not blowing up your hand issues, but malfunction issues. i think after that, beretta just didn't want to have issues with a specific round tarnish their name.

>>33997616
you can still find kits online for 9 series, but supposedly the beretta mags have issues feeding 357 sig. 357 sig has 10% higher pressure on average over 9mm and .40s&w. general rule of thumb for conversions is that if the pistol for the conversion is made in 10mm, then it can handle 357 sig.

Get both.

In all honesty, it's just preference on caliber. The guns will preform great with either one.

There are far more model options for 9mm though. So if you want anything besides standard, like inox, compact, brigadier, or vertec, go with 9mm.

>>
>>33993560
Have shot both, 92 series superior in every way.
>>
>>33993605
They're very, very similar. Depends on the color you want, basically. Most of the work is the same. Biggest difference is the grip.

M9A3 has an overgrip that mimics the normal 92 grip, but also has the thinner Vertec grip. The Wilson 92G will have an inbetweener grip that isn't quite as big as 92, but not as narrow as Vertec.

The Wilson comes as a G unit (decocker only) while the M9A3 can be converted to G easily, but with a little more cost.

The M9A3 does come with 3 improved magazines though, that are treated to be sand resistant and should function better in more conditions.

The A3 also has a beveled mag well, can't remember if the Wilson does.

And of course the A3 comes with a standard threaded barrel if thats legal where you live. A3 also has a 3 slot rail, I think Wilson has a 2 slot.

The Wilson has more steel parts in it, but to be honest, that's more of a mental selling point than a functional one, as all the polymer on the M9A3 is super durable.

How is a gun with a distinct lack of features "The best." How are we defining "best?"

There is a long list of things wrong with the G19 that are legitimate. Being stupid simple does not mean it is inherently the best. There's things wrong from aesthetics, if you care, to internals, to trigger, to grip angle.

Why do you think every serious Glock user spends another $600 to improve it?

The biggest complaint about the Glock today is that it hasn't changed basically ever and it's price has never gone down.

It is overpriced for what it is in the year 2017. The Beretta APX and S&W Shield are both cheaper than the Glock. The Shield is A LOT cheaper.

Dat SA trigger is sex. Managed to hit some rounds close together on my first magazine at 7 yrds, even with dogshit Remington UMC 9x19mm ammo. The factory sights seem to be better as well. Size isn't nearly as bad as people say it is.

I liked it before, but I'm really thinking about getting one eventually.

I bought an Omega, and the recess in the frame was machined too large to hold the trigger bar spring, rendering the gun inoperable after a few dozen rounds worked it free from the burrs. So people on forums told me 'you fucking faggot, buy a plain 75b", which I did and had the trigger spring break on me on my second range trip, which was about 2-300 rounds in. I have since replaced many of the parts with CGW and it's a much better gun now, but I wouldn't trust my safety to any off the rack CZ after my experiences. I'm curious about Sphinx since it's supposed to be a better quality CZ clone.

I'm told that the original Swiss models are the best and when they were bought out in 2010 production moved to the US and quality suffered. The company went from super target pistols to making less expensive normal civilian models like compacts. So they're kind of like SIG now.
>>
>>34001244
Sure if you have manlet hands.

>>34001273
2 true. glockfags like to confuse reliability with durability. but most people wont fire 100,000 rounds through a gun in their life time so there's that to consider.

>>34001313
Sig have been overpriced for a good... forever, now.

>>34001508
IMHO CZs have the most ergonomic and pleasant design, but they suffer from occasional QC issues and suffer from a somewhat antiquated and random problem proned design. That being said most CZs are fine and the company has certainly been making moves to remedy these problems in recent years. Modernizing a 40+yr old wonder nine design while keeping costs low is kinda hard.

>Modernizing a 40+yr old wonder nine design while keeping costs low

I thought that was the point of the Omega system. They claimed that it was less expensive, more robust, and easier to work on. I think that was all marketing BS. After owning both and working on both, the original seems heartier and just as difficult to work on.

The IWI Jericho is that way. But Spike's was the frame safety. And I normally carry Berettas anyway, so that's what I'm used to and prefer.
>>
>>34001957
This is what I always hear, but in atleast some of the early episodes he has one with a slide mounted safety.

Don't let Spike's mid season switch limit your dreams Anons

Really? Now I'll have to autistically rewatch the show.

>>

I don't like slide safeties, especially such a small slide to begin with with very little material to grab onto when racking the slide.

Though I suppose you could just palm rack it.
>>
>>34002007
Yea, just started myself a few days ago.

IIRC in episode two or three(when they find ein) spike points his gun at the guy he mistakenly thinks is his bounty at the pet shop. in the scene you can clearly see a slide mounted safety on his Jericho.

>>34002082
The deagle brand jericho seems pretty nice though, I'm looking forward to shooting it.
>>
>>33996776
I'm guessing you're some POG pushing his service to claim some kind of credibility. To that I say kick rocks, of course service pistols that have been beat to high hell are gonna have issues.
>>
>>34000896

I got used to it right away. I was actually just at the range firing this and an HK45 and every time i went to release the HK mag i went for the heel instead of the trigger guard.
>>
>>34001128
i have no idea what people see in Jerichos. Maybe it's just me, but it just doesn't look good. Is it animu factor?

bought these in January and still haven't fired either...

I have a 92fs and a 96fs. I am thinking of trading the 96, do I keep it, go with an M9 or another 92fs? Thanks for the input.
>>
>>33996745
They're the same height in that picture, but the grip position if they remained static are completely different by almost an inch. The left one easily a lower bore axis.

Not that this even matters on a standard issue military sidearm.

>and how do you like it
As I mentioned in another thread, it's a fine shooter. Took it and a Q5 Match to the range and I prefer the APX. Trigger pull and reset I think is better on the APX.
>>
>>34004039
Do you carry that Cheetah? If so, what holster do you use?
>>
>>34004028
>cheetah ripoff
Yes it is, and was half the price of the unobtainium (around here) 84FS. It'll make a nice first shooter gift to one of my kids when I get a real Cheetah.
>>
>>34004258

don't carry it because I don't have a holster plus the fact that I haven't yet fired it
>>34004261
where do you live? If any LGS uses Sport South as a distributor, they'll be able to get one. I ordered a bunch of them to my gun counter with the sole intention of purchasing one that way

are you saying this based on experience with firing multiple 84s/85s, or just off the fact that you're too much of a bitch to rack the slide?

What I normally find myself doing is racking the slide with the safety itself as a place to grab. That might be a bad idea though, I'm not sure if it'll eventually cause damage to the safety.
>>
>>34005989
Sounds more like you'd hurt your fingers when the slide snaps forward, like the charging handle on an AK.
