Why not a red dot? The red dot completes the package, its junk w/out one. 25yd on out is much easier with it. Turns it into a potential 100yd PDW. Add a can for HD, purrrfection.

not true. you can also mount pistol extensions to it as well, it doesnt make it a rifle at all. also thats a shockwave brace. again, the gun in OPs pic is a pistol with a brace, not a rifle.

The adapter shown is only for Gen 3 full size frames unfortunately. I figured they would do a compact version but the idea hasn't really taken off, everyone wants a bulky Scorpion or Mpx or Zenith mp5. The guy has a blog that is pretty cringey, bunch of pop culture rap references.

Pic is Suarez, their the only ones who seem to be exploring the idea. I've always been interested in one since MGS3 where Ocelot attaches a stock to his SAA. A similar setup can be done for ~ 500. Cheap $300 optic, $100 milling and $100 stock/adapter.
