Discovered the same when I scoped out Gander on Monday. Though there might have been a deal or two-Smith and Wesson 6946 for 299. Sig Sauer P229s for 449. Not sure if they were 9, 40 or .357 though.

I'll be honest I've never held one before and it feels solid as a rock. It's Mean and black with really good weight and stability (when the stock is folded anyway)

I just scored a like new USP 9mm for 250, with a Safariland drop leg holster. Didn't come with any magazines, though, so it may not have been that much of a bargain.

Just bought a really nice Remington 1903A4 clone. How much do these go for usually?

I picked up a Daewoo DP51 recently for $240 after tax, which seemed like a good price.
The seller had apparently never heard of the name before and thought it was some kind of budget high power, somehow.

It's pretty comfy, and a 5900 series S&W without the gigantic slide safety seems like a dream come true.

Welp, I feel like a complete fucking retard now. What I hard originally thought was some fouling marks in the cylinder has turned out to be...something else.

I have no idea what these things are, but it looks like there are little sleeves or something in the cylinder on the Security Six and I can't load anything into it. I've tried 357, 38 and 9mm and nothing will fit. Does anyone have any idea what was done to this gun?

This had to be some sort of aftermarket mod, becasue the barrel is marked .357. But I can't imagine what caliber this might be a conversion for, especially seeing how far back it would seat the round. fml

Actually, it looks a little too long for 9mm. Maybe 38 super 9x23 winchester.

What really confuses me is that the barrel appears to be original, not bored out or sleeved, which means that either someone stuck an oddball cylinder on the gun or it was set up for a handload with some weird as fuck case geometry

That is a good price. They're going for like 400ish now since lionheart discontinued the base version of the LH9 and said that they're never having another black friday sale again. Kind of a dumb way to dehype your already unknown brand.

I owned a base LH9 for two years before selling. It was an ok shooter. Double action pull is sort of heavy. People would say to carry it in the "tri-action" mode with the safety. The safety is tiny as fuck though, so I'd rather carry it DA, but then the DA trigger sort of sucks. I compared the trigger to a a few smith autoloaders; a 39-2, a 5905, and a 639. The smiths had lighter, smoother triggers. I know a few 3rd gen smiths did have a decock only, so those would probably be better carry guns than earlier smith or the dp51/lh9.

When you really think about it, the tri action is sort of pointless. Why have a long, but light trigger with the tri-action? It doesn't make the gun any safer, as in tri-action mode, it takes just a touch to get into single action mode.

Still, I'd like to own one again as they are neat guns. Also becuase I still have an assload of factory mags since I didn't sell them with the gun.

Im pretty excited, i thought it would be another year or two before i got an AK.(Century 39 V2)

but last night i went to trade my SKS(type M)+Cash for a Colt 1911 but when i was there the guy was talking about how he didnt like it.(he collects type 84s). So i did some talking and I traded my SKS+160$ for his Century 39.

That sounds like a meh deal to me. SKSs are shooting up in price, and D/M variants are going for 6-800 bucks. Are they worth that much? No not really, but a lot of people are willing to pay.

In other news I was able to return the Six for a full refund. They had just put out another one, but it was chrome with plastic grips. Overall much better condition but nowhere near as much character. I guess my search continues.

Yeah, I have a 5904 and a 4506 and the triggers are distinctly better on them. I don't really mind though, as I mostly bought it for novelty and because a 5906 with a frame safety is neat, on top of the whole triple action thing.
I almost bought a mk1 lionheart for the marginally nicer grips and the forward slide serrations, but I figured they weren't worth an extra 150 on literally the same gun otherwise.

I don't think he saw the goat at all. I told everyone on the discord not to bring it but no one listened to me. The grandpa was there early Friday which was the first day, and only 20 people or so we're there but many were still showing up.

Supposedly that night Gramps text the kid hosting that he wanted everyone gone by that morning, but the kid didn't get the text that night since cell service sucked.

Then, he shows up around 1 or 2 on Saturday, expecting everyone to be gone, but instead there are probably 60 people, along with tons of gunfire and explosions from tannerite.

Long story short, he was pissed. Cue like 2 or 3 hours of frantic packing and we all got the fuck out quick. Some people relocated to a public camping area somewhere nearby, I just went home since it was only like a 2 hour drive back to Dallas and i was done at that point.
