why aren't you helping remove the Vodka as a volunteer, /k/? This crazy Finn did just that, and is now mowing down neo-ruskie Nazis with an RPK.

Because the Novorossiyans and the Ukrainians are two sides of the same coin, and wouldn't want to see two brothers kill each other over loyalty to differing sides. Also LBT sale when?

I might get side plates. Some day. Important if you're doing vehicle mounted ops and expecting an ambush. But no one on here is doing any of that. So I guess they're important if you're pretending to do vehicle mounted ops and you're expecting an ambush.
Ah now I remember why this general is called gear Queer. It is fucking gay.

Just made a LAPG order.
New belt coming, plus new shorts and new pants. Pants have integrated knee pads. We'll see how the hold up.

Have the standard issue entry level electronic earpro. Is it normal that I can still hear gunshots very clearly from neighboring shooters? The sound is bearable, and as far as I can tell the rifle shots aren't as "sharp" and loud as with passive protection but they're still noticeable. Also any way to keep them from squeezing my head too hard?

Keep in mind I've never had the misfortune to hear a gunshot without earpro inside or outside IRL.

I personally don't like quad rails. Too uncomfy on the hands. They go on military rifles because of all the shit you need to pile on. My civilian rifles are either freefloat tube or back to plastic ribbed handguards (which if are actually really comfy if you don't need attachments).

I don't hate on your rifle though. /arg/ is schizophrenic about quad rails though because if you have "muh Block 2 SOCOM" they spoog themselves, if you have naything else they hiss and hate it.

Your rail ladders are a good call. Exactly what I did on my military M4 to make it easier to hold.

M12 on a GI thigh extender is still a dropleg, but it's one strap instead of two, it's cheap (within what I assume is a poorfag budget), and it covers far less of your body than that thing you have.

Personally I'd upgrade the belt as well. Something bigger and thicker. A shooter's belt, old style pistol belt, or a duty belt. Those rigger's belts just don't cut it.

not really. I called him out about being a faggot after waiting 8 months on a micro rig.

Basically told him what he was going to do step by step after i called him a massive waste of space/air. The whole "round up the faggots, take em upstairs, sit em on the couch, proceed to bitch about me bitching and making a coupon code out of my name"

Needless to say he did none of those things and my shit shipped out 9 months after order. I have no intention of dealing with his retarded shit, which is a shame because his gear is rock fucking solid.

in my experience it's mostly the never-deployed types who act hard. usually the same fucks who get a superiority complex over not being one of the sheeple, since they always sit with their back to the wall and are constantly in condition yellow or whatever. if they're cops or regular joes they like to talk shit about SF ninjas teaching shooting classes, saying that their experience doesn't apply in CONUS.

the real deal ninja SF guys all have 1 million white knights who will destroy you for them, if you criticize them a bazillion guys will come out of the woodwork screaming "DELTA FORCE LOW VIS OPS" and "MUH MOGADISHU MILE" and so on. if the SF ninja instructor feels wronged all he has to do is post a very matter of fact press release and the crusade begins.

Anyone know of a good 6x4 admin pouch? Everything I've seen that's decent looking has been far too big to put where I want it (center of my chest)

What a fucking shitshow... The best part of it is that they're all right. Literally every single one of the above statements is correct. At this point, the conflicts between the left and right and the West and East have ceased to exist. For the common person, it's become a war for the sake of war. On a political level, it began as and remains a war sponsored by foreign governments who wish to advance their own interests on the backs of dead Ukies and Russkies. I think the war in Ukraine is the conflict most truly representative of the state of the modern world.

Gear threads on /k/ are no longer about random anons buying gear and testing it out before reporting back on the quality.

They've devolved into as tripfag echo-chamber where the same people post the same set of images for weeks on end.

These threads have turned into a chatroom for autists that spend too much on gear.

I try not to post too much as I know little about the Gucci gear that people like to post here.

Trust me, we see your same ugly buyers remorse horseshit posted day, after day, after day, you don't need a fucking username appended to your shitposts too you troglodytes. It's not just the gear threads, its every thread on this damn board now. People are so pathetic that they really think they need to become 4chan "famous" in some random general that gets probably ~20 active posters max at any given time. Enjoy being made fun of by every person on this site while you rot in your circlejerk autism. It's not even enjoyable to browse this board anymore because of the prevalent tripfagging, but I guess its to be expected: the majority of gun owners really are entitled attentionwhoring bitches who are just a step down from women.

Can I please, please write an IFAK guide, the "just use what the military uses" guides are seriously going to get someone killed over a minor injury.

My credentials: EMT-B, EMT-T/TCCC, Experience, Active Shooter Response Team, Rescue Task Force, Rescue Task Force-Embedded

Yeah, before people start jumping at me, I am not a Paragod, or a 68W, but for reference, when it comes to active shooters/rescues, it's all meatball medicine, ALS skills go right out the window because you don't have time for them, or they realistically don't matter unless you have definitive care.
>>
>>34007086
Just write it up and keep posting it in every thread and see what people say about it. If everyone comes to a consensus on it(like one person) then it will be on there. Unless of course you just wait and make a new thread and include it yourself.

EMT-T/TCCC is an advanced certification for both EMT-B and EMT-P focusing on tactical/combat trauma. TCCC stands for Tactical Combat Casualty Care. Expands scope of practice, and means my training and skillset for handling, for instance, a gunshot wound, is far above a standard EMT-B or EMT-P.

I am not a medic, because in my communist hellhole of a state medics are required to be hospital employees, and the hospital must sponsor you to go to medic school, which also requires that you have approximately half of an associates completed before applying. I am a hospital employee, but I do not have the time to attend medic school. I'm also about to be picked up by a big-city PD.

>>
>>34008175
An east coast hellhole.

Skillwise, there is not much that falls under TCCC that isn't at least taught as an ALS skillset, but many medical controls do not allow them as standing orders. Needle decompression being a big one. Additionally with the EMT-T, I am allowed to ignore c-spine precautions in penetrating traumas, and I can implement intermediate airways without medical control. EMT-P is primarily trained for medical emergencies - Cardiac and respiratory, that's their bread and butter. There's actually very little they can do during a trauma except for a head trauma, that an EMT-B really couldn't do, because most traumatic injuries are entirely under a BLS skillset.

hey y'all, I bought a TAG carrier in multicam that works pretty good, but it lacks a velcro spot on the front to put patches and whatnot. What is a non-autistic looking way to get velcro onto molle?

I was thinking this, maybe??

Ebay. That's where I got all of my stuff.

Alternatively, get some high quality Kevlar or Nylon canvas, cut it up to the shape, stack & staple them together, and make some outter shell for the sandwich you've created to hold its shape.

It's the combat shirt itself, not the pattern

>>
>>34011313
It's an airshit shirt from when I used to play airshit, it's a horrible fit, the material isn't breathable or easy to dry, and it's not fire resistant.

I'm waiting on a Crye G3 Combat shirt in the mail (in multicam) that I can do a comparison on just to objectify proove to people on the edge that they should go with a better combat shirt.

Keep in mind I don't even have plates yet and it was still extremely uncomfortable with my Chest rig and pack normally
>>
I have no objection with real marpat woodland at all, it works well in a few specific environments but in most of the Multicam is superior.

That shirt is fake as fuck airsoft shit
>>
>>34011329
>>34011365
Too be completely honest the actual USMC pattern isn't very different, it's more just the shirt being trash quality.

What difference does an EGA every couple inches of fabric make other than signifying that the wearer enjoys crayons a little too much
>>
>>33983849
That shit has to be fake. It's too cringe for anyone to have done seriously, even slavs.
>>
>>34011410
You must have never actually had your hands on a real MCCUU if you actually believe that shirt is even close to the real pattern.

It doesn't signify anything besides that the pattern is printed according to spec, that includes NIR compliance
>>
>>34011444
I don't even think most of the gear people use ITT is NIR compliant anyways.

I could be wrong, but Crye doesn't list their shit as NIR complient on their website. It could obviously still be I'm just assuming it's something they'd want to advertise.

Is there any way to reduce the IR signature of gear and clothes that isn't designed to be hard to see?

should be a little higher but you'll have to adjust it again when you get your plates

Someone give me the quick rundown on custom ordering holsters from Safariland? Looking to get a light cut, probably RMR cut FNX-45 tactical holster with lvl3 retention that I can hang off a belt rig. Preferably a little low since I hate having it high up on my hip. If I have them cut it for say an X300 will a smaller light fit inside?
>>
>>34011551
the main gripe for me is the stupidity at the shoulders and collar. you want a collar like on the crye, patagonia, or beyond shirts that can keep your rifle sling from chafing you raw while patrolling. you don't want seams right on top of your traps because a heavy ruck will make those cut right into you.

DESU senpai that doesn't really mean much much, if you are a milfag you (reasonably) have access to a lot of things that a normal civilian wouldn't, like myself.

So you guys posting NODs and issued gear as if you're better than the civilians that either don't have the money to reasonably go out and get it or are just not able to easily find specific issued gear is a little underhanded.

No disrespect though

time for me to start talking about kit again.

first ceradyne 275 plates. Im still searching for information on if its lvl iv standalone or icw.
its weight indicates its an icw (4.1 pounds)
BUT most lvl iii plates are much thicker than this. its same width as my kdh plates. plus the dea spent $1500 per set to get these

but the weight and multicurve made a world of difference. my carrier fills out better. I got a lot of shoulder pain with my stt because the backplate was ill fitting and pulled on my shoulders. After 2 hours of wear today, it was still better than 30 minutes of wearing my old plates. planning to wear these innawoods soon, if you can find these plates get em. I think for $750 they come with a plate carrier

my first and second line. Pretty minimal I feel. will add a radio pouch for bbwarz soonish. my big thing right now is finding a new bladder pouch or day pack. my Tag combat sustainment ripped at sieze grozny.

so while we're on the subject, the tag csp
>has a terrible oversized bladder pocket that doesnt do anything to flatten your bladder
>has 3 very small pockets
>shitty straps.
>airsoft stiching

so my hydration set up really needs a rework. I'm feeling a quart on plate carrier cumberbund and then 3L in a bladder or a day pack. for now Ill use my camelbak but Im really open to suggestions

on the conceal carry side, Im liking my usp and carrying it aiwb in this off the grid concepts adr mk 1 holster.

That being said, my grip flares out and prints a bit. button ups hide it well, but this is a t shirt no go.

this is a consequence of carrying full size, using a crappy first spear line one belt, and the fact that the otg holster is a multi position holster. unlike dedicated aiwb, theres no, wedge, supertuck, or claw to pull the grip in. Ill modify the equipment I use as I go, but love the gun, like the holster, hate the belt.
>>
so in conclusion, of my recent gear acquisitons
>otg holster are a bit simple and feature bare but both my owb and iwb were cheap shipped quicked and have good build quality
>bfg pouches are the future, love my pistol mag pouches
>first spear line one sucks

I'm looking for a owb holster for my sig p320 compact I like the idea of a level 2 holster since it's not concealed, and there are alot of dumb people out there. it wouldn't surprise me if someone tried to grab a gun. so the serpa holster in the picture says it fits, but it's a little long so is it bad to trim a polymer holster, and if someone has a p320 and a serpa does it actually fit?

>>34011169
Riding low. Needs to go up. What size is it. You could go up a size, or not. Smaller carriers and plates give you increased mobility. Remember carriers and plates aren't meant to protect you from being shot per say, they're to protect you from getting killed in an instant when a full size rifle round hits you in the sternum.

I need to get a combat shirt. New belt and pants incoming from LAPG. Check out LAPGs newest pant. I'll review it for you guys once it arrives.

>>
>>34012435
safariland definitely won't

making a mold costs tens of thousands of dollars, go ask them to make a one-off and they might laugh at you. if they're being polite they'll ask you to order 10,000 pieces and pay up front and then they'll do it.

You should look up a good custom kydex bender but i don't think anyone makes level 3.
