Just removed hop been eating my garden
>>
I usually use a Gamo 1250 .177 pellet rifle to remove varmint. I don't take pics though.
>>
I wish I lived someplace where rabbits nibbling my garden was an issue.
>>
>>33982452
You really don't since he ate about 40 bucks worth of plants I now have to replace. Single shot to the head with a .22 maybe 50 yds
>>
>>33982448
I once used a pellet rifle to remove an unwanted bird. Now, I'm not usually one to shoot birds, 'cause they're fuckin birds and you don't really need to remove them— but this was a killdeer. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Killdeer

Now, these birds are a special kind of stupid. They can fly, but build their nest on the ground. Then, on top of that, they'll do this panic call for basically no reason at all. Even at 3am, because apparently being dark outside is enough to trigger the fucks.

So I set out to remove these fucks from my land. Pellet rifle. Small round for small target. So after half an hour of panic at me opening the back door and sitting down on the porch, except they're stupid and forget what they were scared of and land about 35m away. So I line up a humane head shot, except pellets aren't really accurate at that range, so instead of an instant death headshot it hits the thing right in the neck.

So now, the thing goes into turbo panic mode where it's flopping around and trying to do the panic call thing, but it's just this gurgling mess. It's trying to fly, but in such a panic it's just thrashing around, preventing me from finishing the thing off. I can't even step on the thing to end the suffering it's thrashing around so hard. This goes on for a few minutes, and once it finally suffocates, there's six or so other killdeer just standing around watching it. No panic calls. Just standing there.

That was six years ago. Haven't had any killdeer within 50m of the house since.

My gamo is accurate to around 100 yards. I've neck-shot birds and it pretty much decapitates it. If I head shot them there is nothing really left of the head. You need to get a better pellet rifle anon-kun
>>
>>33982627
Holy crap that was something.
>>
>>33982384
Rabbits really don't do any harm around here, they offer so many perfect potential shots but I like watching them and they give the dog something to chase around.
I'd post the webm of me removing trash panda, but people sperg out to the max.

Yeah, it was a hand-me-down piece of shit. I gave it back and bought a PTR instead.

It's overkill for most yard pests, but the neighbor was trying to kill a groundhog with 22LR and it built up an immunity or something because when they winged it with .223, it was back a few days later. Thing was a survivor until I caught it with a .308SP round. Turned it inside out.

Henry 22LR lever action with some Aguila 60gr subsonic ammunition. Whisper quiet for backyard operations and will put down most any varmint with ease. They're way quieter than your typical pellet gun and far and away more powerful.

This one possum tore up my trash so I waited for the fat bastard to come back and I smashed his head in with a pool stick. His brain busted then the stick broke and wood shards went everywhere, it was glorious.

Another time I put a .22 rifle loaded with rat shot up to a possums neck and fired. He was dead instantly

Shot one in the eye with a 9mm

Chopped one in half with a double sided axe while wearing nothing but boxers and fed em to my dog.

Killed one that I found in the woods on the way back from the deer stand with a stick

I don't like possums

youre a godsend for killing starlings. Fucking cocksucker invasive pieces of shit they are.

I live in libtard city-area. I was beaning them in my backyard. Township shows up and says its illegal because my air rifle is over 650 fps. Buy a red ryder ... only blowing half their head off then they fly to the neighbors house with a half a head. Cops show up again about the wounded shitbirds.
Start trapping them in my backyard and breaking their necks. Afro american neighbors upset im killing the bird equivalent of their species. Cops again. Costs money to trap in this township and I dont have the permits.
Now thanks to shit birds and shit neighbors ive got these scums back chasing off all the cool birds and nesting in the neighboring houses.
Goddamnit.
