My experiences have all been pretty alright, although I have heard about some nightmares. Not a huge issue for me as all CHL people, whether they realize it or not, get fast tracked. My last instant background check was actually pretty much instant.

Speaking of CHLs. It only let's you skip to the front of the line of the OSP BGC, it doesn't exempt you from the BGC and it doesn't mean you'll be instantly or automatically approved. You also have to wait behind all the other CHL holders. If you don't have a CHL, you have the potential to wait forever since there is no limit on how many times you can get cut. I had a dude wait for over half an hour on a relatively slow day. Most people are only cut once or twice though. It's on big days like gun show or holiday shopping when you don't really want to buy a gun without a CHL

I've had quite a few people get pissy about having to do a BGC claiming they never had to do one since they had their CHL. Get out of my face you fucking liars. No fucking gun store in oregon is going to sell a gun to a CHL holder without a BGC unless they want to get shut down.
