For both cases, you want a gun -- swords would be too cumbersome to draw.

The only thing I've seen swords used for IRL is intimidation. You draw it on the nigger pack before they close in for the kill, and you shout the nigrish territorial bellow "ya'llfukkin'widdawrongmufugga" that strikes fear into the african heart. It takes some time to get the call down just right, so maybe you could pick up a nigger call at cabelas or something.
