Sporterized ones are still dirt cheap because Milsurp Autists don't want them and there are a million in the country. I paid 325CAD for my unmolested No4 about four years ago, seems to have doubled in value now. Wouldn't sell it though, first rifle.

best poorfag rifles in Canuckistan are the SKS and Mosin, at the moment. Both can be had for around 200$, and surplus ammo is cheap.

ugh mfw I found out that the fudderized no4 mk1 had the barrel cut down a couple inches and so it's impossible to restore it without replacing the barrel, which would ruin the matching set of barrel/receiver/bolt

oh don't worry, give it 10 years and we'll be looking at people selling fuddtacular SKS' for 800$, and "original" condition ones will be 1200$, and you'll get all the people on places like /k/ complaining about the fudds who put ATI or Tapco stocks on their SKS and "ruined" a historical rifle. lol

lol mine basically looks like that already. It was sporterized by Parker Hale in the 50's/60's so is has a new front sight braised onto the front. And the stock looks similar to that.

like I mentioned for the other guy, it was commercially sporterized by Parker Hale. Apparently they did that to a bunch in the 50s and 60s. Mine has a stamp on it indicating it was proofed by the government for sale into the commercial market.

Basically, they chopped the barrel by about 2-3", braised on a new front sight post thingy, and replaced the stock so it's just the buttstock and rear lower handguard part.

yeah, it's a nice gun for sure. bolt is buttery smooth, feeds great, has the milled rear sight with adjustable peep and then 300m battlesight peep.

not sure about accuracy yet, haven't really checked its zero yet. Just blasted off 20 rounds at the range to see if it worked.

This week's Big 5 flyer shows the Savage 64FXP in .22lr with an included 4x15 scope for $160, and a Savage Axis II in .308 with included 3-8x40 scope for $400. Not too bad.

but holy shit if the length of pull isn't super long. ffs it's actually a bit uncomfortable to grip it firmly with the trigger hand. It's like it's made for 7 foot tall british giants or something. I've considered shaving it down or something, but it would fuck up the butt pad and all that.

i paid 50dollars for my 1911 m96 and 90dollars for my 1941 k98

Best value poorfag gun is undoubtedly the mossberg 500 combo with the 26 inch smoothbore and rifled slug barrel. Can be bought for under 300. Fucker even has ported barrels. Will allow you to shoot clays (the most fun you can have with a gun) and hunt literally anything on gods green earth within 50 yards
